Welcome to The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 19 recap. Last time, Katie discussed her early exit from the season, but she received a chilly reception. Shannon worked Tamra’s nerves, while Emily shared more details about her son Luke’s diagnosis. Here’s what happened in RHOC Season 19 Episode 19: “Reunion, Part Two.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 19?
The ladies discussed why Tamra showed the photo of Jenn at a heavier weight. Then Jenn’s fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, called her with jaw-dropping news about Katie. And a spicy Matt Ginella faced off with Gretchen and Jenn.
Why did Tamra show the photo of Jenn?
In Tamra’s mind, Jenn “singled” her out to get on RHOC. Hilariously, Tamra mentioned that Jenn and her ex-husband, Will Pedranti, moved close to her, but Tamra wasn’t living there at the time. Oh, the horror! Then Tamra alleged that Jenn started using the same hair salon and doctor, which Jenn denied. Then, Jenn started going to Tamra’s gym.
Finally, Heather was asked why she felt that Tamra wasn’t being shady by showing the photo of Jenn at a heavier weight. Heather explained that Tamra showed the photo during a deep conversation, where “traumatic” topics, as well as Teddi Mellencamp’s cancer battle, were discussed.
So, Emily asked Tamra, “What was your real intent with the photo? Just that Jenn had changed?” Tamra admitted that it was “shady,” then she apologized.
Then, Shannon brought up how Tamra said that Jenn “had an affair.” Cue the flashback of Jenn and Tamra fighting over infidelity. At the reunion, Tamra said, “I heard it happened at your old yoga studio with an instructor.” Jenn exclaimed, “No, Tamra, that’s not true! I had an affair on Will, and I’m with Ryan.” And Tamra responded, “And I have no proof of that, and I should never have said that.”
As for Jenn’s wedding date? There isn’t one yet. She isn’t in a hurry to get married, and she wants all her kids to be there. “If something happened, I’m now at a point where me and my kids are gonna be just fine,” Jenn said as everyone applauded. “Ryan and I met with Will, and it was very weird, but Will sat there, and he owned everything,” Jenn added. Plus, Jenn is happy that there is a co-parenting relationship now, and she has sole custody of her kids.
Gina does some apologizing during the Real Housewives reunion
Next, the topic of Gina trashing Heather’s comedy chops came up. “What bothered me was we’re both putting ourselves back into the world, in some capacity, in our careers,” Heather said. “And I thought out of everyone, you’d be the one to go, ‘That’s awesome! I love this for her.’” Gina apologized for her comments, and Heather added that her career is always insulted by someone on RHOC. Then the duo hugged it out.
Meanwhile, Andy asked what Emily’s husband, Shane Simpson, thought of her adventure, dancing and straddling a man at The Abbey. “First of all, I was a victim of dry-humping. I was not initiating it,” Emily said. “Shane said, ‘I did not like watching that, but I’m just going to let it go.’” Now, that’s progress!
Ryan gives Jenn some tea about Katie
Jenn told Shannon that she got a call from Ryan. Apparently, Jenn texted Shannon last night that, “Nicole was with f*cking Katie.” Cue the flashback of Ryan calling Jenn during the RHOC reunion lunch break. “So, Matt [Bowyer] and Nicole are driving to take Matt to his prison, or whatever you want to call it. And Ryan said, ‘I just talked to Nicole, and that chick is weird.'”
Allegedly, Katie made a beeline for Nicole. Plus, Ryan told Jenn on the phone that Katie allegedly asked Nicole, “‘Can I ask you something, and you promise not to lie? Was Ryan involved in Matt’s illegal bookie business?’” WHAT?!
“Nicole said it was so f*cking obvious that she was digging, and then just kept on,” he added. “And to know she went there to pump Nicole for information, so she and Tamra can go sit out there like some united front, she can go f*ck herself,” Jenn told her man.
Then Jenn told Shannon that Katie talked to Nicole about a role on the show. Katie allegedly said, “‘They really want you on the show, so let’s get together, because I can get you a casting.’”
Jenn and Gretchen explain their racially insensitive video on the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion
Jenn and Katie haven’t spoken since their last meeting on camera. “There’s things that I don’t understand with Katie that don’t make sense inside a real friendship,” Jenn said.
Next, Andy asked about a racially insensitive video that Gretchen and Jen posted. It was insensitive towards the Asian community. “No, it was not aimed at me,” Katie said. “But it was not appropriate.” While Jenn may have posted it, Katie was more upset at Gretchen because of “the actions and the voices or noises that you were making.”
However, Jenn was angry that Katie came for her. “You and I knew each other better than that. How dare you!” Jenn exclaimed. While Jenn never apologized to Katie, Gretchen did. Andy asked, “I mean, what were you thinking posting that?” Jenn responded, “I didn’t think. I’m sorry to anyone I offended with that.”
Of course, Katie claimed that Gretchen’s apology came through ChatGPT. And Katie ran it through an AI indicator. “Are you serious?” Gretchen remarked. “Wow!” Then she added, “I’m sorry I hurt you, that’s the bottom line, ‘cause that was not the intent.” In the end, Katie did accept their apologies.
Breaking down the “naked wasted” drama
Then Jenn was asked why she dumped Katie over a lie detector test, but moved on with Gretchen after she misspoke about the “naked wasted” saga. “Gretchen had never told me …. that she was roofied by you, that she was sent to the hospital by you,” Jenn told Tamra. “But then, whenever Gretchen and I did talk about it, when everything came up, she told me, ‘I was so sick I probably could have gone to the hospital.’”
Several fans wanted to know how Gretchen could claim she “misspoke” on camera in New Orleans. “I take full responsibility for that miscommunication,” Gretchen said. “I think that sometimes what happens when people are reliving a traumatic experience, or getting a lot of new information, sometimes you say words that you don’t intend to say.” In addition, Andy, Tamra, and Emily all agreed that if Gretchen had gone to the hospital, it would have come out at the reunion.
Meanwhile, Andy explained that Bravo invited Slade Smiley, Ryan, and Matt to be present for the reunion. Slade and Ryan declined. Shocking! However, Matt showed up. So, the talk turned to the phone call between Slade and Matt while the RHOC ladies were in New Orleans.
Matt said, “If we go back to Mastro’s, I don’t know anything about “naked wasted” … this was a story that illustrated to us, from them, how dangerous Tamra could be, and what she’s capable of.” He added, “And it went into great detail about this night, that led to a drugging and hospital.”
Gretchen spills some tea about Matt on the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion
When Jenn started to explain about Ryan, Matt cut her off. Then Jenn mentioned a conversation that Matt had at that dinner. Gretchen chimed in, “Oh, I’ll go there because you were the first person that said, ‘The second I met Eddie [Judge], he was gay.’” Gretchen added, “You were talking sh*t.” Katie responded, “You guys told us that this guy walked in … seeing Eddie with another man.”
Welp, back to the “naked wasted” debacle. “Slade says, ‘Listen, Katie talked to Kiki Monique. Katie just sealed her own fate. That story was never supposed to come out,’” Matt said.
According to Matt, Katie said that she didn’t speak to Kiki. “Well, it got out, and Slade is saying you have got to stick with Gretchen, hold the line, and that never was said,” Matt said he told his wife.
Then a text message was displayed onscreen. Matt’s text read, “Gretchen and Katie stayed aligned and poked holes in her timeline. She walked out.” So, what did Gretchen say? That Katie and Matt “manipulated” the text messages. Lordy!
Finally, Andy asked, “Why didn’t Slade come? He usually doesn’t shy from the cameras.” Gretchen explained, “Well, because everyone accuses Slade of wanting to be on camera and wanting to be a housewife …”
Matt didn’t hold back. “He’s on his fourth housewife?” he asked. Gretchen said, “No, I’m the third housewife.” Next, Katie claimed that Jen “f*cked” with her “paycheck” and “livelihood.” She alleged that if Jen had backed her up, she could have kept filming. “I f*cked with your paycheck?” Jen replied. “I stuck up for you all the time.” Katie screamed, “I watched!”
