As far as the Real Housewives are concerned, Andy Cohen has seen it all. From breakups and breakthroughs, he’s witnessed the best and the worst of it. So when asked at BravoCon 2025 which moments he felt should be immortalized forever in a proverbial Mount Rushmore, he had answers at the ready.
Andy Cohen picks his four Real Housewives moments for Mount Rushmore
In celebration of the franchise turning 20, Andy picked his four top Mount Rushmore moments throughout the years.
“I’m gonna say, the table flip,” he started. He’s referring, of course, to Teresa Giudice’s now infamous table flip in The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 1. It was a big move for the first season and has gone down in Housewives history. During a heated discussion, Danielle Staub told Teresa to “pay attention.”
The OG RHONJ girl did not like that. She angrily pushed the table up and off her and onto her cast mates. Big boss move and one that Andy put on his mountain. Very different from the Teresa who’s now playing nice with Melissa Gorga…
“The family van,” Andy continued, referring to Vicki Gunvalson’s iconic meltdown and another OG franchise, The Real Housewives of Orange County. This hilarious moment came from Season 2 of the show. Vicki freaked out because she was expecting a limo to pick them up, not a “little family van.” Andy has previously mentioned how much he loves this moment.
“I’m trying to think of an early New York moment,” Andy paused. “Oh, I’m gonna say, scary island!”
This refers to Season 3 of Real Housewives of New York and their infamous 2010 vacation in St. John. Kelly Bensimon coined the nickname herself during a tense girls’ trip that showcased her eccentric behavior and subsequent meltdown.
“And I’m going to say, in Atlanta, NeNe (Leakes), Kim (Zolciak), and Shereé (Whitfield) and the wig,” he concluded. This refers to Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2, when NeNe and Sheree confronted Kim about rumors she was spreading and ended up grabbing and pulling Kim’s wig. Another classic!
“Those four moments are my Mount Rushmore,” Andy concluded.
