Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills features a softer Sutton Stracke. After all, her bestie, Garcelle Beauvais, walked out of the Season 14 reunion, never to return. However, Sutton recently confronted her past during a visit to Watch What Happens Live, when she was asked about Garcelle and her former assistant, Avi Gabay.
Viewers were shocked that Sutton fired Avi, who often appeared on RHOBH. “It was just a business decision for me,” Sutton previously explained. “And you know, we had run our course … I just didn’t need anybody in my house all the time.”
Sutton said she “had to keep it professional” with Avi
During her visit to the clubhouse, a fan asked Sutton, “Now that you’ve had some time to reflect, do you have any regrets regarding your relationship with Garcelle or Avi?” Cue Sutton’s unexpected response. “Oh, no. I don’t have any regrets. I … I look back on my friendship with Garcelle so fondly, and I had just really, really great memories with her,” she stated.
Host Andy Cohen chimed in, “I have to assume you regret how it ended?” Sutton replied, “Well, I mean, I wish that I had a better ending, you know, like a face-to-face ending.” Andy added, “Or that maybe it didn’t end.”
Sutton doubled down. “It kind of didn’t end. It fizzled,” she explained. However, Andy wasn’t buying it. “Well, I mean, it looks like it ended, he stated.” Sutton replied, “She ended it for sure.”
When Andy asked about Avi, Sutton stayed the course. “You know, Avi … we were friends. Then he was an employee,” she said. “And so, when you know when we parted ways, when I let him go, that’s a professional thing.”
Then, The Valley: Persian Style star Mercedes “MJ” Javid asked Sutton if she felt like she wanted “to reach out to them now.” Sutton’s reply said it all. “Um … no,” she responded.
