Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have been in a holding pattern for what seems like a million years. The show has been on pause since Season 14. That season failed the viewers, and it was clear the cast needed a shake-up. However, Bravo’s Andy Cohen offered fans a sliver of hope.
Over the summer, Andy addressed the speculation about the show’s future and current cast. He announced, “We’re close,” as far as revealing who will be part of Season 15. However, it seems as if plans have shifted. Meanwhile, we still don’t know if Teresa Giudice will continue her run as the “OG.”

Ahead of BravoCon, Andy shared that there would be no cast announcement for Jersey. That was disappointing. Later, a source close to casting stated, “Previous producers have been having a hard time finding the right cast and fit. They didn’t like the newcomers who were test filming last year in August.” As a result, a third-party group is handling RHONJ casting.
Well, Andy has some casting ideas of his own. Recently, on Watch What Happens Live, former NFL stars Jason McCourty and Devin McCourty were behind the clubhouse bar. They chatted about their philanthropic work. “I got my eye on both of your wives for the Jersey Housewives,” Andy told the twin brothers. “They live in Franklin Lakes. They live in Franklin Lakes!”
As Andy continued to chat about RHONJ, he again shot his shot. “Devin and Jason don’t know what we’re talking about right now, but they’re going to. They’re going to [when they’re on the show],” he said.
In addition, during the WWHL After Show, Andy called the former NFL stars, “my new colleagues.” He added, “Literally, I’m writing the email right now.” Hey, I think it’s a great idea. Let’s get RHONJ going!
