Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills focused heavily on Dorit Kemsley. Her divorce from PK Kemsley, her shopping habits, and chronic lateness were discussed by her RHOBH co-stars. However, her alleged behavior at Kyle Richards’ daughter’s wedding really steamed Teddi Mellencamp.
After all, Dorit’s arguments this season with longtime friends Kyle and Erika Jayne were brutal. She even ditched Erika and Kyle in an Italian town and left them stranded. Afterward, the fate of their friendship with Dorit was dangling by a thread. Plus, during the Season 15 finale, Dorit told Sutton Stracke their friendship was over, and then dissed her dress.
The RHOBH star is being called out for being “late” once again
Well, it seems that Dorit’s supposed behavior at Kyle’s daughter, Alexia Umansky’s, wedding didn’t win over any of her friends and co-stars. During her podcast Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi gave fans a download of events. “Dorit went to Kyle’s daughter’s wedding. How did that happen?” Teddi’s co-host, Tamra Judge, asked.
“Well, she’d already gotten an invite,” Teddi replied. “At this point in the wedding, we are asked to not take pictures and to not take videos. Right around the time Dorit comes Bambi-ing down the stairs.” And yes, Dorit was late.
“She doesn’t end up being late because the wedding’s late, so … it’s neither here nor there. But she comes there, and she speaks so loudly the entire time we’re waiting,” Teddi continued. “She has no self-awareness at all,” Tamra remarked.
“I was so embarrassed, and like you know, there were points where I’ve really loved Dorit, and there were times when I’ve really gotten along with Dorit …” Teddi explained. The RHOBH alum continued, “And she is loud. Everyone else is silent. Then, when they start walking down the aisle, Dorit pulls out her phone and starts videoing. They just gave us instructions!”
Tamra asked, “Was she there when the instructions were …?” Teddi responded, “Yes! She was there. Everyone was there. There’s no excuse,” Teddi added.
It remains to be seen if Dorit is interested in repairing her friendships with Kyle and Erika. It seems as if she prefers the company of Rachel Zoe and Bozoma Saint John.
