Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills marked the end of PK Kemsley’s friendship with Lisa Vanderpump. And it was all because of a puppy named Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. When Dorit Kemsley rehomed the pup without notifying Vanderpump Dogs, all hell broke loose. The puppy ended up in a kill shelter, and the RHOBH cast ganged up on LVP.
PK says he hopes to see Lisa soon
The cast accused Lisa of leaking the story to the tabloids, and she denied it. However, no one believed her. In the end, the “puppygate” scandal led Lisa to ditch the reunion and exit the series. Her longtime friendship with PK ended when Lisa cut ties with Dorit.
Now, in a recent interview on the podcast We Need to Talk, PK reflected on his relationship with Lisa. He held up a photo of himself with Lisa and a dog. “So that is LVP, her puppy, and me,” he stated. “Yeah, I miss her. And I think that the fallout was so unnecessary, and I know she feels the same.” He added, “And I believe I’m going to see her fairly soon.”
Of course, now that PK and Dorit are divorcing, a reconciliation with LVP could be in the cards. Previously, PK also wondered if RHOBH played a role in the collapse of his marriage. “I’m not blaming my divorce on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But the truth is, the biggest question I have is – is Dorit where she was always going to be, or was I responsible for putting her in that world?” PK remarked.
Meanwhile, Lisa has also signaled that she misses PK – just not Dorit. “There will always be room in my heart for PK; he was my friend,” Lisa stated in 2025. “So, yeah, I would enjoy reconnecting with him at some point.”
