Kyle Richards just shared what could have saved her marriage to Mauricio Umansky. And The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s theory is surprising. Not only does the actress know why things soured, but also how their marriage could have thrived. Apparently, it’s all about location, location, location.

The couple, who separated in 2023, have not filed for divorce. However, Kyle doesn’t enjoy Mau’s hobby of kissing younger women in public. “I just wish that he would be a little more discreet,” Kyle opined. There is zero chance of that happening.
During the RHOBH Season 15 reunion, Kyle shared what would prompt them to pull the trigger and divorce. “Once there’s someone, you know, that comes into either one of our lives, they’re gonna force our hand in that, obviously. We haven’t felt that and needed to do that,” she explained.
Meanwhile, during the reunion, Kyle addressed what led to their marital split. “We’re asked all the time how this happened,” Kyle stated, adding that the causes were “money and fame and traveling.” She continued, “I used to say, ‘Listen, if you don’t make money, it’s totally fine. I don’t need you to have money. But I don’t want to live in L.A. and not have any money, because that’s not fun.’”
As for what could have saved their union? “We would move to Vail, and [Mauricio] could be a ski instructor, and I could be home with the kids. I do believe that if that had happened, we’d still be together,” Kyle explained.
In addition, Kyle felt that social media was also a negative factor in their relationship. “I do think that social media is the worst thing for a relationship and people in the public eye,” Kyle added. “Everyone has access to you,” she stated. “It’s like giving people your number all the time.”
