Teddi Mellencamp slammed Bethenny Frankel for not shouting out a fellow Bravolebrity’s shoe line. Bethenny, a former Real Housewives of New York star, is an influencer who loves to share her opinion. However, when she was gifted some shoes, wore them, and didn’t credit the shoe line, a feud was born.
Tamra Judge agreed it was a “sh*tty thing to do”
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Lexi Ioannou gifted shoes from her line, Nou, to Bethenny. In an Instagram video, Lexi said, “Instead of linking them, she linked a dupe with an affiliate link. So, she got the shoes for free from a woman-founded brand, mine, and then she made money sending her followers somewhere else.” Lexi was never shy about speaking up.
However, later, in an Instagram video, Bethenny did give Lexi’s shoe line a shout-out. “The shoes are Nou,” Bethenny stated. “N-O-U, I think.”
Still, that wasn’t enough to quiet Teddi and her podcast co-host Tamra Judge’s feelings about Bethenny. During their podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi remarked, “Bethenny was kind of a douche lord.”
Then, Tamra chimed in. “Lexi, Dina [Manzo’s] daughter … does she have a shoe line?” Once Teddi confirmed, Tamra continued. “She gifts it to somebody, and they wear it a bunch of times and promote a bunch of different stuff.”
Teddi stated that Bethenny “tagged the dupes, and she didn’t say they’re sold out. Here’s the company. She just tagged dupes,” she added.
“I just feel like it was a sh*tty thing to do. Like, just … give her a shout out,” Tamra opined. “You could just say like, ‘Hey. It’s sold out, but this is the brand,’” Teddi remarked.
“Lexi did herself good by bringing that up,” Tamra said, while Teddi added, “Now everybody wants those damn shoes.” Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that there has been beef between Bethenny and the podcast duo. When Bethenny interviewed Rachel Leviss, formerly of Vanderpump Rules, Teddi and Tamra were critical of the interview.
