Katie Ginella had a challenging sophomore year on Real Housewives of Orange County. She told her truths as often as she could. But her words were unreliable, according to almost everyone else on her cast. So, following their dramatic reunion, where her husband also failed to change anyone’s opinions about his wife’s claims during Season 19, where does Katie go from here?
Katie Ginella is “open to moving forward” with the RHOC cast
While walking the circuit at BravoCon last weekend, Entertainment Tonight caught up with Katie for a chat. As Brice Sander welcomed Katie to her first BravoCon, she laughed, calling her experience “baptized by fire.” But, Katie has “been baptized by fire for two years now” on RHOC.
She agreed. But, does Katie “feel like a phoenix rising from the ashes after the reunion?” Giving her man all the credit, Katie said, “That’s more of a question for my husband, Matt [Ginella].” Flashbacks then showed Matt at the reunion, trying to support his wife against her former friends.
When we returned to the circuit, there Matt was, standing beside Katie. With both Ginellas in attendance, apparently the cast of RHOC is still not “buying” their statements as “the truth.” Again, flashbacks showed Katie trying to explain that she had proof of her statements. Yet, Gretchen Rossi argued back, suggesting that her evidence was “manipulated.”
After this messy season, can Katie move forward with her cast? “I’m open to moving forward, because I think there’s a way to do that. But, it doesn’t seem, right now, that they’re open to that,” she answered.
Helping matters, however, Katie still has a lifeline in Tamra Judge. She is also friendly with Vicki Gunvalson, who is returning for Season 20. So, Katie remains hopeful for her future on this series.
