In Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans saw the breakdown of the friendship between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley. Their back-and-forth featured prominently during the season, and while it seemed like they made amends after filming, the new trailer shows them at odds once again. It looks like they haven’t worked through everything yet.

One would think that navigating a separation at the same time would have brought Kyle and Dorit closer. After all, it looks like it did that for their estranged spouses, Mauricio Umansky and PK Kemsley. However, instead of a solid bromance like the boys, the ladies ended up feuding most of the season.
In the trailer for Season 15, premiering on December 4, fans saw that Dorit and Kyle were still fighting (despite looking like they were okay again after the reunion). For Kyle, it’s been difficult because she feels Dorit is not “open-minded” when it comes to listening. She thinks this is the root of their issues.
“When she has something in her head, that’s it,” Kyle told US Weekly. “It’s really frustrating to try to have a conversation with her.”
She explained the tension has been “hard,” especially since it appears that Erika Jayne gets involved with their issues this season, too.
“It was like two steps forward, three steps back,” Kyle explained. “I would love to say we’re in a better place now, but it got worse. Things came to blows in Italy.” (What is it with the trips that always seem to make things worse? Perhaps close quarters?)
Part of the drama from last season was Kyle’s continued friendship with PK (remember the meme texts?). However, it looks like Kyle has no issues with Dorit being friends with Mauricio. Why is she friends with PK a problem?
“That’s a good question to ask her (Dorit),” Kyle said. Kyle said she encouraged Dorit and Mauricio to have a sit-down as she thought it might help bridge the gap between Dorit and PK. However, it doesn’t seem to have worked. During the trailer, Dorit said PK hasn’t asked to see his kids, a claim which he has since denied.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo on Tuesday, December 4 at 8/7c. You can stream it the following day on Peacock.
