Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was a total rollercoaster ride. And when it came to rumors swirling around, Meredith Marks was always the target. One of the accusations that came up was her alleged substance abuse problem. This was discussed among the cast during the season, and it became a big topic on social media. It was also a big storyline for her, which is why she’s pointing her finger at the crew.
During the third part of the Season 6, Meredith finally had it, revealing on-camera that she was mad at production and that they set her up. The tea is piping hot, and even though the season is over, she’s continuing to air out her grievances.
The RHOSLC reunion saw Meredith Marks slammed for complaining about production
In a new expose, Meredith ripped into the production of RHOSLC for allowing false accusations heightened by social media to play out this season.
“[The cast] is repeatedly told that we don’t follow social media stories: It’s ruining the show. But when it comes to me, we are following it. Why are we following a story of false accusations of substance abuse, but not following the truth? That was my real issue,” she explained to Variety.
It wasn’t just the substance abuse rumor that made her upset. Britani Bateman brought up a TikTok that alleged some infidelity from Meredith’s husband Seth Marks. Mind you, their marriage has had issues in the past, so this isn’t helping their growth.
“It was very obscure. When the episode aired, it had 25 likes. What bothered me was we don’t usually follow little TikTok storylines. So why suddenly are we following that? Why was that OK”
Based on her outrage with both the cast and crew this season, it wouldn’t be a shock if she left RHOSLC. Some rumors have already emerged regarding her potential departure. The only co-star so far that is hoping that she sticks around is Heather Gay. This is a shocking level of support, given the fact that the two went at it in the reunion.
