Real Housewives of New York fans were delighted that several OG cast members were headed to a new series. The cast jumped from Bravo to E! to sign on for The Golden Life. The original cast featured Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer.
According to E!, these gems will live out their new chapter “in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene.” Of course, there will be drama. And there is already controversy swirling around the show. A special shout-out to Jill for that unwanted bonus.

Sonja also caused a reported hiccup with a recent Instagram post. She shared a photo of herself with Ramona. Deadline reported that the original caption read, “Some duos just don’t fade … Ramonja’s back on E! Network and Hulu. Are we ready or are we READY?
#TheGoldenLife #PalmBeach #NYC #OGs #RHONY.” The word “Hulu” has since been dropped from the current post.
Since E! has moved from NBCUniversal to Versant, it is no longer affiliated with Peacock for streaming. Despite Sonja’s Instagram comment about The Golden Life streaming on Hulu, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Sources inside Versant told Deadline that there are no streaming plans in place for The Golden Life right now. However, it could stream on Hulu in the future. Reportedly, filming is set to start in the spring.
Meanwhile, Sonja is excited to film her life again and reconnect with fans. “They really want to know what’s going on, and they were getting a little angry that they didn’t get to see me, for instance, move out of the townhouse and sell it,” Sonja previously told Reality Tea.
