Kandi Burruss Shuts Down Awkward Andy Cohen Question on WWHL About Todd Tucker Divorce

After leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss is no longer beholden to Andy Cohen’s shady questions on Watch What Happens Live. Freedom is a beautiful thing.

During Kandi’s latest visit to the clubhouse, Andy tried to dig up some details on her messy split from Todd Tucker. She knew it was coming, but she didn’t hesitate to shut down Andy’s line of questioning.

Of course, RHOA fans watched Kandi meet, marry, and reproduce with Todd throughout her tenure on reality TV. We’re all dying to know what caused their Bravo fairytale to fall apart after 11 years.

During the Sunday, February 22 episode of WWHL, Andy addressed the elephant in the room and got Kandi to shed a little bit more light on her marriage’s demise. She said they first separated several months before filing for divorce in November 2025.

“It happened in July,” Kandi explained. “In July was when I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, no. I can’t do this no more.’”

Andy asked if there was something specific that happened. Kandi confirmed that there was a final straw, but she didn’t want to share details. After all, Bravo is no longer paying her to share her personal life.

“Yeah, there was a specific situation that happened,” Kandi admitted before taking a moment.

She then added, “I’m not talking about it on Watch What Happens.”

Meanwhile, recent court records show the two exes locked in an increasingly toxic battle. Kandi said he hasn’t been helping take care of their kids. He said she kicked him out of their shared home and has been forced to live rent-free in her guest house. It’s all messy.

Still, Kandi told Andy she feels confident they’ll work things out for the sake of their little ones.

“I feel like, once we’re done with this, I really feel that we’ll be able to be great co-parents,” Kandi noted. “Our ultimate goal is to make sure that all of our kids are happy and they don’t feel the blunt [sic] of our drama.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday on Bravo, and streams on Peacock.
