Dolores Catania is back on our screens in the new series The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. This time, she is a friend of the cast, which includes her buddy, Liz McGraw. After all, Dolores needs to warm up for when The Real Housewives of New Jersey finally returns. Of course, both Dolores and Liz have something else in common: their feelings about RHORI co-star Ashley Iaconetti.
Dolores and Liz share their hot take on Ashley
Ashley, who appeared on both The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, is known for shedding a few tears. During a live Virtual Reali-Tea event, Liz and Dolores weighed in on the newbie. Page Six reported that the duo didn’t realize that she had appeared on other reality shows before her RHORI casting. In addition, Liz called Ashley a “confessional warrior” before noting that she needs to “bring it in both places.” Yikes.
Liz continued, “She does really well in her confessionals, and that’s something that didn’t show up in the scenes. Just saying.” The weed queen added that she “never personally tried to make plans with” Ashley. Meanwhile, Dolores commented that Ashley was “very quiet” during filming and was “nice.”
The RHORI star did share some positive words about Ashley. “She’s a new soul,” Liz explained. “There’s nothing wrong with that. She can’t necessarily relate to us who have real deep-seated sh*t.”
Meanwhile, Ashley shared her feelings about joining the cast. “This cast was so skeptical of me, and they did not give a crap about the fact that I’d been on reality TV or anything like that before,” the Bachelor alum stated. “They were skeptical of me because I wasn’t from Rhode Island.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
