Fans may see Lindsay Hubbard’s reaction to Scamanda in real time, as she was filming when she heard the news. Her Summer House co-stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s undercover romance stunned the Bravoverse. It certainly shocked their co-stars. And now we may see a bit of that drama play out in the show’s spinoff, In The City.

When West and Amanda issued a joint announcement, confirming their romance, it rocked the Summer House cast. After all, Amanda had just separated from Kyle Cooke. Plus, she was best friends with Ciara Miller, who dated West. So messy and complicated.
Recently, Lindsay revealed that she was filming In The City when she learned of the new coupling. “I was doing confessionals right when the announcement was posted that West and Amanda announced that they were together,” Lindsay told DECIDER. “That’s on camera! I don’t know if that’s going to be a pickup or not, but they were already rolling, so lucky timing for us, I guess.”
She added that she does “not envy” production, which has to decide what is included in the show. “These scandals are very impactful, and they can rock our world as they have. We need cameras on us at all times, honestly,” Lindsay explained.
In addition, Lindsay shared that Amanda reached out to her. So, she floated the idea of filming their sit-down for In The City. “I mean, we’ve come this far,” she stated. “Who knows what could happen?” After all, Lindsay and Amanda became very close during filming of the Summer House spinoff.
Meanwhile, following the reunion, it seems that much of the cast, including Lindsay, was in Ciara’s corner. We will have to watch the Season 10 reunion to see how this scandal played out.
In The City will premiere on Bravo on Tuesday, May 19. Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
