Nia tried to deal with Danny’s behavior during the drag pageant in San Diego. Meanwhile, Jason suffered a scary injury during a basketball game with the guys. And Zack made a surprising accusation against Brittany.

During the San Diego trip, as Lala and Danny argued, Nia entered the room. She asked Danny to let Lala “express her feelings.” Instead, Danny told Lala, “You don’t have the right to do that.” Once again, only Danny’s feelings matter.

“The vibe that I get from Danny and Nia feels suffocating to me,” Lala said in her confessional. “I think there’s a lot that’s pushed under the rug, and I feel so badly for her.”

A little while later, Nia told Danny that she appreciated his “shift in energy” as he practiced his walk. “Don’t talk to me like that,” he responded. This woman can literally do nothing right. “I keep getting more frustrated with the way that Daniel is speaking to me, and I don’t know why he doesn’t get it,” Nia said in her talking head.

Meanwhile, the three Miss Valley Drag Pageant judges, Jasmine, her fiancée Melissa, and Zack’s boyfriend Benji, were ready to be impressed. Schwartz was Miss Judged, sporting a blue ballgown and chic blonde wig. Jesse entered as Mr. Whine-O in a gold jumpsuit and promptly lost one shoe. Meanwhile, Luke was Miss Taken, serving Little Mermaid vibes.

Then, it was Zack’s turn to shine as Miss Petty, complete with his bouncing fake bosom. “Zack looks like a whore that Tom Schwartz probably banged in the early 2000s,” Kristen noted in her confessional. However, Danny’s entrance as Miss Understood shocked the cast, as his dress was tucked in the back of his black underpants. Classy.

In the end, Schwartz won Miss Congeniality, Luke was the runner-up, and Zack won. Oops! Nia made a mistake, and it was actually Luke, as Miss Taken, who won the crown.

Later, Nia and Danny went outside to talk. Nia told her husband that his behavior bothered her. “It wasn’t making me feel good in that moment,” Nia admitted.

However, Danny flipped the conversation back to Lala and told Nia not to interrupt him. When she tried to make her point by speaking calmly, he scolded her for raising her voice. Danny apologized, but he didn’t listen to Nia.

Finally, Danny stood up, returned to the house, and grabbed a beer. When he and Nia were alone in a separate room, he said, “I can’t believe you said that sh*t. I would never say that stuff to you.”

Danny explained in his talking head, “We don’t have these conversations, not when we’re around other people. Like, we do this in private.” As Danny and Nia headed back to the baby house, Danny instructed her to take her mic off.

Meanwhile, Lala, Janet, Brittany, and Michelle discussed Danny’s behavior towards Nia. “He’s a real problem,” Lala said. “He’s a real Polly Pocket-size problem, girl.”

And Lala wasn’t the only person who felt that way. “I mean, we’ve all heard something,” Michelle admitted. “And then we all have to pretend that it doesn’t exist.”

Danny’s apology tour in The Valley

The next morning, Nia apologized for bringing up topics on-camera. “We’d both had something to drink and were not super on the same page,” she said, adding that she was “hurt.” Danny said that he didn’t speak to his wife “in the right tone,” and he apologized. “If I have had one too many, my fuse can be shorter, and I can be snappy,” Danny said in his talking head. “I took it too far.” Then Nia suggested that Danny apologize to Lala.

Meanwhile, Michelle, Janet, and Lala were chatting while sporting under-eye masks. “This is tough, honestly, even hearing and seeing again. Because I feel like they would rather remove people from their lives who say things,” Janet stated. “And I would like to say something to her, but this is a lot.”

However, Lala felt that Nia could be receptive to an apology. “I don’t think I’m ever going to have a real, honest conversation with Nia about what happened last year,” Janet said in her confessional. “It’s very clear that even though this thing with Danny probably really hurt her, she’s also very defensive of him.”

Next, Danny approached Lala and told her that his tone when speaking to Nia “was all wrong.” Lala didn’t pull any punches after meeting Dark-side Danny. “I think there’s something that happens when you have one too many drinks,” she stated.

She added that she wasn’t saying that he had a drinking problem. However, she wanted to make sure that he was “good.” He responded, “I rarely drink, so …” However, in his confessional, Danny was not good. “We’re not friends like that,” he said. “Lala needs to just mind her own business.”

Janet and Nia headed to the garden. “I know that last year was really rough, and I caused you a lot of pain. I’m really sorry,” Janet said. “I just feel very almost indifferent at this point,” Nia replied. She called out Janet’s “pattern” of behavior and mentioned how Janet has continued to talk about Danny. When Janet claimed that other people also made comments, Nia repeatedly brought it back to Janet’s actions.

Back at home, Janet and Jason had been discussing having a second child. “With Cameron, we were very lucky. Third time’s a charm,” Janet said in her confessional. “But my second pregnancy will technically put me in the geriatric pregnancy zone.” However, Jason has researched adoption since his father was adopted. “It’s something that if we weren’t able to naturally have a second kid, I would 100% love to explore that option,” he stated.

Later, the men gathered to play basketball. Unfortunately, when Jason jumped to take a shot, he injured his knee. The guys called an ambulance to take him for treatment. Yikes!

Zack, Brittany, Kristen, and Lala met for lunch. Brittany shared an update on how well her son with her ex, Jax Taylor, is doing. “Cruz seems so much better with his dad being away. He is thriving,” Brittany said in her confessional. She said of Jax, “He’s still pulling all of the same tricks and doing all the same things to me. And it makes co-parenting extremely difficult.”

Then, Lala told Kristen about what happened in San Diego with Danny and Nia. “The way that your friend Danny speaks to his wife is utterly unacceptable,” Lala told Kristen.

However, Kristen shared in her talking head that she aspires to have a relationship like Nia and Danny’s. “You should always have your partner’s back. You don’t air your dirty laundry,” she explained. Kristen added, “You should learn how to communicate at home and have these conversations in private and work past them without embarrassing your significant other.”

Next, Zack dropped a bomb. “You know you don’t like Nia like this,” Zack told Brittany. “He’s said this for a really long time,” Kristen admitted. While Brittany insisted that she likes Nia, Zack added, “You do digs to me about Nia all the time, too.” An upset Brittany demanded to know when she made these comments.

“I have been very careful not to say anything about them, purposely, because of all the stuff,” Brittany said. “I’m never talking about Nia or Danny ever again.” In her talking head, Brittany remarked, “I have been in Zack’s life for over 17 years. Danny has been in his life for a very short amount of time. It’s just very disrespectful,” she added of how Zack was defending Danny.

Meanwhile, Kristen stated that she never sees Danny drinking. “She has literally been around Danny drinking on many occasions,” Lala said in her confessional. Then she noted that Kristen doesn’t have “a friendship” with Nia and Danny. “This is called an alliance,” Lala stated.

The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
