How The Valley Cast Really Feels About Danny Booko This Season

Danny Booko is raising a lot of eyebrows this season on The Valley. His treatment of Nia Sanchez has not been “a good look,” according to the vast majority of his co-stars.

Danny and Nia are understandably exhausted. However, during a cast trip to San Diego, Nia appeared to be parenting alone, with some help from their nanny. Case in point, when Nia tried to eat a sandwich, Danny scoffed at the idea that he might have to hold their baby. From there, his irritation only grew toward his wife.

Danny nitpicked her words, arguing that their friends were not eating; they were drinking. He also called his wife “performative” when she got excited about riding a roller coaster. Then, he threw a fit when Nia addressed his behaviors “on camera.” Yet, she was not the first one to do so this season.

Unlike last season, this season, Jesse Lally has kept a mostly passive tone toward Danny. These men are friends, so this, unfortunately, tracks. Jesse was even sitting in the same room when Danny spoke poorly to Nia in a recent episode. And even then, Jesse chose to remain silent, sitting in his pageant outfit, taking it all in while someone else on their cast swiftly handled Danny instead.

However, in his talking head, Jesse later found his voice. He admitted that Danny crossed a line with his wife. Danny was “definitely ordering her around, definitely being aggressive,” Jesse clocked. Then, Jesse revealed that Danny had been drinking, and alcohol, Jesse stressed, definitely turns Danny into a “dark side” version of himself.

When drinking, Jesse continued, Danny shifts from his normal self into someone “very obnoxious, loud, and super annoying.” But will Jesse address his concerns to Danny in person this season? Only time will tell.

Tom Schwartz and Luke Broderick spoke out on WWHL

Like Jesse, Tom Schwartz and Luke Broderick are friends with Danny. As a result, they are also not checking their pal for his antics this season on The Valley. That does not mean, however, that these men are standing fully on his side.

To explain, Tom and Luke just appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Danny was actually supposed to appear on this episode instead of Tom. But at the last minute, Danny dropped out. Nia explained, “Daniel got a great work opportunity on a huge new movie,” which left the seat open for Tom to slide into.

On this episode, Andy Cohen asked Tom and Luke, “What have been your reactions to seeing his behavior in the last two episodes?” Tom spoke first, admitting that these episodes were “horrid,” and that “[Danny] was being a real a-hole.” Luke agreed, saying, “It’s not a good look. I’m one of the biggest Danny defenders, and you know what, he was an a-hole.”

Kristen Doute has given Danny her support

Kristen Doute has reacted similarly to her husband, Luke, this season, at least when it comes to her support of Danny. On The Valley, Kristen argued that she never saw Danny acting disrespectfully toward Nia. She also never saw him drinking heavily, she added.

Her support recently spilled over to the internet. As @queensofbravo shared, one fan just posted the longest sentence ever, noting their support for Danny. As this fan typed, Danny deserved “to let loose and have fun without anybody criticizing him, because he works his ass off to support his family, and his wife obviously loves and respects him, so I think everybody should stop listening to psycho Janet [Caperna] accusing him of having alcohol issues.” In the comments, Kristen agreed.

“Thank you for this,” Kristen said. “I love Danny to f*cking pieces, and this wasn’t a good look,” she thankfully added. However, Kristen ended, “A bad moment doesn’t equal a sh*tty person.”

Michelle Saniei made a big claim about Danny’s behavior

Michelle Saniei recently dropped a bombshell on The Valley. After watching Danny speak to his wife poorly throughout their trip to San Diego, Michelle revealed, “I mean, we’ve all heard something [about Danny]. And then we all have to pretend that it doesn’t exist.”

Michelle admitted that everyone on this cast sees and/or hears, yet refuses, for one reason or another, to hold Danny accountable for his antics, but times are seemingly changing. In a recent episode, Michelle joined Lala Kent and Janet for a day of pampering. The women all agreed that Nia is “very defensive” of Danny. However, “You couldn’t hide” his poor treatment of Nia anymore following their trip to San Diego, as Michelle said.

Lala also “couldn’t hide” her feelings about Danny in the past two episodes. Ms. Utah always enjoys popping others, and she more than clocked in for her paycheck in recent showings.

Lala Kent called Danny “aggressive” and “disrespectful”

When Nia helped Danny get ready for his pageant, Lala overheard Danny speaking to her with disdain. Eager to “shut it down,” Lala walked into the room, explaining, “Danny, I have to be honest, it’s making me feel very uncomfortable the way you’re talking to her. It’s making me very triggered. You’re being aggressive and disrespectful to your wife.”

Danny argued, but Lala dug in, saying, “You’re not going to come in and be passive-aggressive. ‘Cause what happens is, you’re passive-aggressive, I’m just aggressive. Don’t do that sh*t to me.”

“So, you’re in my marriage?” Danny asked. But as Lala stressed, “I don’t need to be in your marriage to see what’s right in front of my eyes and ears.” Even still, Danny tried turning the tables on Lala, but she stood ten toes down, arguing, “I would hate to see how you talk to [Nia] behind closed doors.”

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock.
