Dorit Kemsley’s messy divorce from PK Kemsley has played out over the last few seasons of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Now, in a new interview, Dorit has shared some emotional thoughts on the breakup of her relationship, and how she begged her ex to keep their split civil.

In a new sit-down on Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Dorit reflected on her relationship with PK and claimed she tried to prevent things from turning hostile once they split.
“If you even knew how many times I have begged, I have pleaded,” Dorit said of how she has tried to manage the tension between herself and PK. “I’ve tried everything.”
To that, Kelly questioned what could be causing the contention between the former couple. “What do you think it is?” she asked. “Do you think he cannot stand the idea of losing you? [That] you walking away is inconceivable to him?”
“I think that he has to be enemies with me because it’s too hard for him if we’re friends,” Dorit replied. “And I think it’s more of an emotional thing because it doesn’t make sense. And as I said, I have tried everything imaginable.”
She went on: “I’ve said to PK from the beginning, ‘You can do whatever you want. I won’t stop you. I won’t cause you any problems.”
Dorit continued to say her priority in her divorce from PK is the two children they share. For that reason, the RHOBH cast member said she just wants to have a “very fair agreement” with her ex.
“The most important thing to me is that we coparent our children in a very amicable, healthy, peaceful, respectful manner,” she said.
