Brittany Cartwright ended her relationship with boyfriend Brandon Hanson during Season 3 of The Valley. After escaping a toxic marriage to Jax Taylor, fans hoped that Brittany would have better luck in love. Unfortunately, her romance with Brandon, a longtime friend, didn’t pan out. And Brittany had her reasons for pulling the plug.
The Bravo star’s ex was hanging out with another woman
After Brittany’s mommy makeover, Brandon came to take care of her. His main duty was to pick up Brittany’s pain medication, which he failed to do. Apparently, Brandon also asked Brittany for money to take care of her, since he would be taking time off from work and traveling 200 miles to her home. And she paid him!
“But then he kept, like, delaying the days and didn’t even get the pain medication,” Brittany said in an episode of The Valley. “The icks are piling on.” Indeed.
Well, Brandon defended himself on social media. “When she’s a millionaire, and she wants to … give me money to come hang out why would i decline?” he said via X. Not a good look. He also responded to allegations that he dated Brittany for clout. “Me and Brittany are still friends in private. I don’t need the clout,” Brandon stated.
During The Valley Season 3 Episode 11, Brittany dropped a bomb on Lala Kent and Janet Caperna about the Brandon drama. Brittany and Brandon argued about whether they should still date. Then, Brittany received a DM from Brandon’s ex. Brandon’s daughter claimed that she “hung out at another girl’s house and that Brandon had already been FaceTiming with another girl.” Finally, Brittany ended the romance.
Later, at Tom Schwartz’s party, Brittany told the crew about breaking up with Brandon. “And his ex said he’s been already talking to someone,” she stated. When Zack Wickham, who had serious reservations about this coupling, heard the news, he felt vindicated.
