The Valley Season 2, Episode 4 featured a Reiki healing session that Kristen Doute organized for the group. The cast could use any help they could get at that point, with former couples at each other’s throats and friends fighting. But it seemed like several of the participants got something positive out of it. However, Jax Taylor was underwhelmed.
Jax was not even present for the Santa Barbara trip. He was freshly checked into rehab and unable to travel with the group. However, on The Valley After Show, he expressed a lot of appreciation for the healer he worked with on Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules.
Jax Taylor was “obsessed with Reiki healing
On Bravo’s The Valley After Show, Jax told producers that he did not get FOMO during the “gratitude ball” exercise. He said, “Those are, like, the little events I was OK with being in rehab for.”
While content to skip that particular session, producers brought up Jax’s former obsession “with Reiki healing for a minute” on VPR. During Season 6, he turned to Kelsey for guidance and energy healing. She had such on impact at the time, that the healer was jokingly referred to as the “Jax whisperer.”
“First of all, I don’t know why people keep messaging that — what about the Reiki healer? She was amazing. By the way, she was married, she was amazing, [and] she was good at what she does,” the VPR alum stated.
No matter how good Kelsey was, Jax can’t “buy into” energy-healing now. Sitting still is not optimal for Jax. But back in the day on VPR, he called a session the “highlight” of the week.
He explained, “I’m way too ADD to sit there and take it all in. I’m thinking about doing laundry, where I’m gonna go tonight … I’m like, can we hurry this process along?”
Brittany Cartwright, who was dating Jax at the time he was working with Kesley, never suspected a romance. However, it “really irritated” her to have to leave their apartment for the meetings.
