For several years Dorinda Medley’s beautiful Blue Stone Manor was a recurring guest star on Real Housewives of New York. Her home in the Berkshires has been featured several times and has been the scene or cause of more than one Housewives outburst, especially the manor’s fish room. Now though, it looks like the fish room has been taken over.
Dorinda’s beautiful vintage estate has cemented a place in Housewives history. It became an annual tradition for the OG RHONY girls to visit and it has seen its fair share of drama. While Dorinda is considering selling it, she still obviously has a soft spot for the lovely home and recently shared an update to one of its most infamous rooms.
Dorinda Medley’s fish room is now the dog room
Fans will never forget the infamous fish room in Blue Stone Manor and fish room gate which happened during Season 11 of RHONY. The girls were staying with Dorinda at her 11,000 square-foot estate and enjoying free housing, yoga, massages, and naked chefs. But of course they couldn’t enjoy the trip without a little drama.
No one wanted to stay in the fish room, especially Luann de Lesseps. The room was dubbed as such because it was decorated in bold blue and green and had several taxidermy fish mounted on the walls. It also has central air and gorgeous views with stunning windows. Dorinda revealed, it cost a pretty penny to create.
The fish room has gotten a few upgrades over the years. The deep green walls are now blue with gold patterns and the fish aren’t all mounted in the same space but spread out over the room. The bedspread is a classic cream instead of blue.
Now though, it looks like the fish room is a fave spot for a slightly less discerning clientele. Dorinda shared an update over the past weekend while hosting some friends at Blue Stone Manor. She snapped a photo of the infamous guest room capturing a small group of dogs laying on the bed.
She confirmed one was her Cavapoo, Parsley. The other two belong to good friends who she tagged in the story. “Fish room is now officially the dog room,” she captioned the photo. Hey, if it’s good enough for man’s best friend, it’s good enough for me!
