Teresa Giudice is doing the press rounds! It seems that as rumors heat up about Real Housewives of New Jersey, the OG Jersey Housewife is out to remind everyone that she deserves that RHONJ spot. While the future of the franchise is still uncertain, Teresa’s future is not. She’s keeping busy, has a new reality show coming up, and is in talks for two new books.
To date, Teresa has published four cookbooks and two memoirs. She is a New York Times bestselling author (and she won’t let you forget it), and it looks like she’s not done yet. She wants to write another two books and is in talks to do just that.
Teresa Giudice could release another cookbook and memoir
Teresa and her daughter Gia Giudice passed by SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live to chat about reality TV, current plans, and her upcoming literary aspirations.
“You’ve had five New York Times bestsellers, right? You had the three cookbooks, and then you had the two memoirs,” Jeff started. “Are you gonna continue to write, because I feel like there’s such a market for your cookbooks, particularly, right?”
“Yes,” Teresa answered. “I’m speaking to someone now. I want to do another cookbook and (another memoir).”
Jeff asked her if the cookbooks or the memoirs do better in sales overall. “I know Skinny Italian was like your first book, right?” he confirmed.
“Yes. That was my first book, but I mean, my first memoir was amazing also,” Teresa said. Overall, she didn’t have a numbers-backed answer for which type of book sells better, but she thinks there’s a healthy market for both.
“Because everyone loves to cook and people love to read books,” she explained. “So I would say both.”
It looks like we could have both types of books on the horizon soon, too. Other than books, both Teresa and Gia have been keeping busy. The duo will be appearing on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test as the first mother-daughter duo when Season 4 launches this month. And Gia just wrapped up the first season of Next Gen NYC.
Fans are still waiting to hear about Teresa and RHONJ, but it looks like she’s still part of the conversation. We’ll have to wait and see what happens. Until then, we can look forward to her new books.
