Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County featured an unexpected blast from the past. A rumor from the night of Tamra Judge’s Season 4 “naked wasted” party surfaced, causing tons of drama. And now it could be resulting in friction in Gretchen Rossi’s friendship with Jennifer Pedranti.
RHOC star Katie Ginella insisted that Gretchen told her she went to the hospital after the party, and that she had allegedly been drugged. However, Gretchen denied both claims and passed her polygraph. Meanwhile, Katie flunked hers spectacularly. Still, Gretchen told Tamra on camera that she did go to the hospital. Oh, my.
Jennifer Pedranti says Gretchen Rossi “misspoke” on RHOC
Recently, Jenn was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. And you know that host Andy Cohen wanted to know all about Gretchen’s shifting hospital stories. “Has your opinion of Gretchen’s story changed now when you see her saying on camera that she did go to the hospital?” he asked.
“That was hard for me to watch. Gretchen and I are becoming really close, and I’ve heard all these stories from Gretchen, but you know what, Andy? She’s never told me that,” Jenn responded. “So, to hear her say that, don’t think I didn’t pick up the phone. And I’m like, ‘Girl, what is going on?’”
Of course, Andy asked what Gretchen said about her remarks. “She said – she said it was really hard. She had a lot coming at her that night,” Jenn explained. The RHOC star added, “She said she was really tired and she said she misspoke.”
Meanwhile, Jenn and Katie’s friendship dissolved because of the lie detector drama. In the end, Jenn sided with Gretchen. “Here’s the thing: Yeah, let’s have a conversation, but you gotta meet me with some realness,” Jenn said of trying to salvage her friendship with Katie.
Somehow, I don’t think Katie and Jenn will be friends again. However, it looks like Jenn hasn’t given up on Gretchen.
