Teresa Giudice of Real Housewives of New Jersey has never backed down, and she’s not about to start now. On the premiere episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Teresa finds herself in an uncomfortable showdown with Sergeant Jason Fox (aka DS Foxy). But to her credit, she doesn’t cower or back down. She wouldn’t be Teresa if she did.
Perhaps as far as Teresa’s concerned, going toe-to-toe with a battle-hardened soldier and drill sergeant is no different than squaring up with a Housewife. And we all know she’s not adverse to flipping a table or two.
Teresa Giudice doesn’t back down when confronted by DS Foxy on Special Forces
However, Teresa should have known that things were going to be hard on Special Forces. Participants have been known to say it was brutal and one of the hardest things they’ve ever done. But Teresa isn’t one to back down when things are hard.
DS Foxy confronted her after he began sizing up the recruits. He set his sights on Teresa almost immediately.
“Clear the hair from your face,” he commanded. “We’re not here to sort ourselves out properly. It’s not a night out. Are you in the wrong place?” he asked her.
Teresa shook her head and said, “No, Sir.”
“You look like you are,” he replied, staring her down. She didn’t blink, and he added, “Fully in the wrong place. You’re stupid.”
Teresa remained unfazed and even defended herself and answered, “That’s not nice.” Foxy told her to shut up and moved on. She may have stood her ground, but you can see she was a little shaken. Still, she didn’t complain when she was pushed to the ground and had to roll in and crawl through the mud.
It looks like this Housewife is going to be a tough nut to crack. Good for her. She joins this season with her daughter, Gia Giudice, as the first mother/daughter duo on the show. Alongside her are Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eva Marcille, The Valley star Brittany Cartwright, and several more.
If this first look is setting the tone for the rest of the season, it looks like we can expect a really brutal time and plenty of drama ahead.
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs on Fox on Thursdays at 9/8c.
