The year is wrapping up and we’re looking forward to bigger (and hopefully wayyy better) things in 2022. And to kick the year off right, Bravo just graced us with the first trailer for the next season of Real Housewives of New Jersey. As always, the ladies understood the assignment and are bringing their A-game into Season 12.
The trailer, debuted by E! Online, has everything we love about RHONJ. While Teresa Giudice is more in love love love than ever, that doesn’t mean her explosive side stays repressed next season (and that’s putting it lightly). The tension between Tre, her brother Joe Gorga and her not-so-favorite sister-in-law Melissa Gorga are always present. There were husbands jumping into the pool (note: jumping, not being PUSHED) and a lot of debauchery from the ladies and their lovable men. But there’s also a whole lot of drama, including Tre taking her infamous table flip to the next level.
Tre’s daughters are also now more in the mess than ever before after Jackie Goldschneider’s analogy about Gia Giudice propelled the girls even more into the spotlight. This season, Gia and Milania Giudice are shown talking to their mom about the way Joey Gorga speaks about their father, Joe Giudice. “She looks at me like I’m the devil,” Tarzan said about his nieces. “Her father was the devil.” Oh boy, I feel another round of Juicy Joe clickbait articles coming on once the season starts. Tre talks about her hatred for “fighting with [her] family,” but what’s a new season of RHONJ without some Giudice/Gorga family drama?
One major storyline pushed by the trailer has to do with Jennifer Aydin. She and Bill Aydin seem to have the picture-perfect life, but Season 12 is testing their limits. Rumors emerge about Jennifer’s past that seem to put a strain on her marriage. Jennifer even cries at one point that if Bill “doesn’t want to be in this marriage, he doesn’t need to do me any favors.” It’s a shock because Bill and Jennifer always seem genuinely solid. Jennifer even confides to her one-time enemy Miss Jackie about her marriage problems. Maybe she’s pulling a MelGo and faking relationship problems for a storyline, but I doubt it. Jen knows she doesn’t have to lie to make good TV — being herself is more than enough.

The rumors have been swirling that Dolores Catania’s Patterson side will be coming out next season because someone gets in her face. In a turn for the unexpected, the trailer hints that the person is Jackie. Jackie still seems to be a bit of an emotional wreck, as she’s probably still reeling about Tre spreading rumors last year. Dolo is also dealing with some family medical problems so she’s likely on-edge while filming. And it culminates with Dolores and Jackie screaming in each other’s faces. “What the f–k are you gonna do about it?” Dolores yells at Jackie. My queen Dolo. She stays calm and collected unless you try to come for her. Then, all bets are off.
Margaret Josephs has been warning the fans that she’s central to all the drama next season of RHONJ and the trailer shows no different. Tre is defending her new fiance Luis Ruelas more than ever from the haters who are spreading rumors about his sketchy past. Tre seems to be on-edge a few times in the trailer, ordering the cameras to stop rolling and warning Luis to not say certain things while they are filming. She’s been around the block and knows a hot mic moment better than anyone, so I can’t really blame her. But I’m still skeptical of Luis swooping in on our Tre, who must be protected at all costs.
Marge apparently brings up the rumors about Luis that set Teresa off. Tre screamed that Marge is a “digusting white trash b*tch” for trying to “pop [her] love bubble.” Girl needs to sit down and drink a tequila pineapple, what happened to the namaste? One moment the trailer shows Tre trying to play the saxophone for her four daughters, then it skips to her basically flipping another dinner table in Marge’s direction. Iconic, show stopping and I support it all.

And arguably the most shocking moment from the trailer is when MelGo and Jennifer get into a physical fight. It’s unclear what the pair are even arguing about, but they start throwing hands and it gets intense. They’ve had a rocky past few seasons and it appears to culminate this go around. We’ll just have to wait for February 1 for Real Housewives of New Jersey to premiere its supersized season to fill in all the blanks.
