Sutton Stracke is facing a lot of changes on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She lost a consistent ally when Garcelle Beauvais left. Sure, Jennifer Tilly is still on the cast, but goodness knows that Garcelle really went to bat for the fashion maven.
That’s just the drama on the cast. Sutton’s former assistant, Avi Gabay, walked away from the job in May 2025. There was talk of bad blood, but neither party confirmed anything but parting on good terms. This season, there is presumed drama with Sutton’s ex-husband, Christian Stracke.
Could Sutton Stracke become Sutton Brown?
Bravo’s The Daily Dish published a piece teasing the new season. And what kind of storylines to expect in regards to each cast member. For Sutton, drama is brewing behind the scenes, as it often does when it comes to her divorce and co-parenting their three children.
“Sutton Stracke tries on her maiden name for size this year when her ex-husband asks for an annulment. After recent fallouts with a former bestie and her trusted assistant, Sutton sees this as an opportunity to reinvent herself with a bold new name and fresh start with the group,” Sutton’s paragraph reads.
It’s a curious situation. And certainly the motive is in question. The former couple divorced in 2016, so why go back and ask for an annulment now? Will it change Sutton’s divorce settlement in any way?
Perhaps there is a religious component. It would take an annulment to allow a person to remarry in the eyes of the church. Earlier this year, Sutton felt certain that Christian would marry his current girlfriend.
Whatever the reason, it may end with Sutton going by her maiden name of Brown. Thank goodness, the RHOBH star had the foresight to name her boutique Sutton, without any mention of the Stracke.
