Season 20 is a legacy season for The Real Housewives of Orange County. Fans have been speculating about who would be part of the franchise’s cast as it celebrates its 20th birthday. Well, the “OG of the OC,” Vicki Gunvalson, will once again be holding an orange.
In 2020, Vicki announced that she was exiting the show, reportedly after being offered a friend of the cast role. “It’s been an incredible ride for 14 years and I want to thank all of you for your support, for your love and for ‘whooping it up’ with me along the way,” Vicki said at the time.
Vicki Gunvalson will return to The Real Housewives of Orange County cast after BravoCon 2025
During BravoCon, Vicki and Andy Cohen were onstage together, preparing to introduce some presenters for an award. “Before we do, Vicki, can you believe the Real Housewives of Orange County is entering its 20th season next year?” Andy asked. “No. And this is so exciting. I love you guys out there,” Vicki stated. “I love Bravo. It’s been a great ride.”
Then Andy dropped a bomb on the unsuspecting Bravo icon. ”Vicki, would you join us as a housewife for Season 20?” he asked, presenting her with an orange. An emotional Vicki responded, “Yes!” In addition, the crowd went wild, including Tamra Judge, who recently reconciled with Vicki.
“Season 20 is going to be great. You’re surprised?” Andy remarked. “Yes. You’re something else,” she told Andy.
Of course, RHOC fans have seen Vicki pop up in guest appearances on the show in Seasons 17 and 18. However, she was completely absent from the most recent season. Meanwhile, making up with Tamra paves the way for a possible reunion with Shannon Beador. Could the Tres Amigas whoop it up again in Season 20? Meanwhile, we still don’t know who will round out the Season 20 cast.
The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion continues on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock, or Hayu in Canada, the UK and Ireland.
