Last night on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, the couples contemplate who to blame for their issues. This should be interesting because I can’t see Soulja Boy as the type to admit when he is wrong. If he isn’t reminding us he is rich, he is screaming at his girlfriend, Nia Riley. They say patience is a virtue, but you have to be almost a saint to deal with his nonsense. She definitely is not a saint, but I don’t think she is bad. During last night’s Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition episode, we found out which couples were able to take the heat… literally.
Lil Mo and Karl Dargan start the day arguing about the comments she made about him not having anything without her. He feels like her thinking is extremely disrespectful. I think they both are right, it’s disrespectful to throw your wealth and fame in his face, but it’s probably true. He may be a boxer, but I had never heard about him until he appeared on TV shows with his wife.
Last night was the season premiere of Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition. This is one of my favorite shows, especially the reality stars franchise. I can’t wait to see some of the most controversial reality stars in hip hop all in one house! This is going to be a recipe for disaster, but I am here for it!
First, Waka Flocka and his wife of four years, Tammy Rivera, arrive at the house. Shortly after, Lil Mo and her husband, Karl Dargan show up. Lil Mo has a lot of trust issues due to the infidelity and lies that have plagued their marriage. Next, Tiffany Campbell, Lil Fizz’s (AKA Drew) ex, arrives all alone. She claims they broke up two months ago and she feels he runs from their issues. After, Jessica Dime and Shawne Williams arrive at the house together next. Shawne feels like despite being engaged for two years, there are changes that need to be made before he is willing to walk down the aisle.
This season of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition is featuring some of the most controversial reality stars from the hip hop industry. If you have watched any of the seasons of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and Hollywood franchises and R&B Divas you know that this has all of the components of reality television gold. There will definitely be drama, cheating accusations, and a ton of relationship issues.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned in all our years watching (and reporting on) reality TV is that these people need a lot of therapy! Thank goodness some genius figured out how to kill two birds with one stone by inventing reality television therapy. That way these ‘stars’ can indulge in both their addiction to extending their 15 minutes, and potentially seeking some much-needed help. Do I have Dr. Drew to thank for this?
Kailyn Lowry officially called it quits with Javi Marroquin by allegedly cheating on him while he was deployed. After their breakup, the exes paid a visit to Marriage Boot Camp, where Javi hoped to save their marriage and work through infidelity, but Kail, well, she had different plans (like a baby in the belly!).
On the Friday premiere, Kail revealed that she did not consider it cheating when she started seeing ChrisLopez, because she and Javi were already separated. Kail also claimed Javi lied that he had filed for divorce. Javi denies this. “I did, in my heart, kind of hope this bootcamp would make her fall in love with me,” the Teen Mom 2 dad confessed. “So I still held on.”
Well, Farrah Abraham has forgiven Dr. Drew, and now they’re both counselors here to teach us how to have functional family relationships and deal with life. Um.
The Teen Mom OG star chatted with Dr. Drew and his co-host Bob Forrest (Celebrity Rehab alumni) on his podcast, where Farrah opened up about her complex family dynamics, what she learned from appearing on WeTV’s Family Boot Camp, and how everything is Debra Danielsen‘s fault. Dr. Drew was also available to diagnose Debra’s mental state and praise Farrah for being so smart.
