Darcey Silva. Where to begin? This reality starlet has peaked on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, not once, but twice. Talk about failing upwards. Darcey has not only escaped her two creepy exes, Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks, she even has her own show! The new show, aptly named Darcey and Stacey features Darcey and her twin sister, Stacey Silva, getting into all kinds of shenanigans.
Not only did Stacey marry her man during the new show’s filming, Darcey has also nailed down a new boo. This time in Bulgaria!
After means seasons on various 90 Day Fiance shows, Darcey Silva is finally a fiancée. She got engaged to Georgi Rusev in June, 2020.
After some disastrous relationships with Jesse Meester and Tom Brooks, Darcey finally got engaged. Will it last? We shall see. Will it play out on TV? Of course. Does it even count as a relationship if it’s not entirely documented on reality TV and social media? Apparently, not.
The last time we saw the Silva twins, Darcey Silva broke up with Tom Brooks on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. Tom was already seeing another woman when he flew to New York to dump Darcey. It was messy, but she took the breakup like a champ and vowed to work on herself before looking for love again.
When news came out about their TLC spinoff Darcey & Stacey, it seemed like a hybrid of Silva power and 90 Day Fiance. Except Stacey Silva’s relationship would have been the focus. Stacey and Albanian fiance Florian have been dating long-distance for five years. But a newly released trailer reveals that Darcey is also sharing a relationship with the cameras.
It’s no revelation that Darcey Silva and her sister Stacey Silva are trying to profit off of their twin lifestyle. They have a clothing line; House of 11. And Darcey shared her dating life on three seasons of the hit reality show 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. She documented her romantic journeys, first with Netherlands native Jesse Meester, then with Brit Tom Brooks. Stacey appeared on the show often enough to come off as thirsty for camera time as well.
Was Darcey really following love or did she play a role to secure a consecutive season? Judging by the tears, the sobs, and the insecurity, it seems that Darcey’s experience was genuine. Love her or hate her, she is very entertaining to watch. TLC seems to agree because Darcey and twin sister Stacey were given a spinoff on the network. And one of her exes is not too happy about it.
It’s not an illusion. And you did read that correctly. 90 Day Fiance alum Jesse Meester is back on TV and looking for love, sans Darcey Silva this time. Jesse probably could have returned to reality TV earlier in time, but was likely waiting for Darcey’s season with Tom Brooks to air so he could absolve himself first.
Yes, Jesse put Darcey down at times and critiqued the way she ate pizza and cut steak, but seeing her needy and insecure behavior play out exactly the same way with Tom seems to point to a problem on her end more than anything. Now, Jesse is ready to grace our screens with his presence again.
Darcey Silva may become a permanent fixture on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. Fans have watched her attempts to extract an engagement ring from, not one, but two men now. Jesse Meester co-starred with Darcey initially, and left such an impact on her, that she seemed emotionally unready to start a new relationship with Tom Brooks. Unless being emotional, needy, and unstable is just typical Darcey.
Of course, both Jesse and Tom used an emotionally willing and needy Darcey when they needed an ego boost. Tom, according to Darcey, would text her on and off since she left the U.K. She was left unsure about the relationship after their time together in London.
The 90 Day Fiance franchise is still going strong after multiple seasons and spinoffs. There’s something very entertaining about watching love span borders and cultures. And if it isn’t love, then it’s just a lot of delusion. Thanks to international dating sites, every citizen of the globe has the chance of snagging a lonely American. The real prize is the Green Card of course.
Of course, the premise for the show is that one partner travels internationally to meet the other. And with the border closures, quarantines, and disrupted air travel due to coronavirus, there is no chance of filming for new seasons. So while sweethearts pine for each other all over the world, TLC exec’s have come up with a solution to give us fans a much-needed hit.
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days definitely contained even more drama than the first tell all episode. The gloves come off when one person attacks several cast members. Insults are thrown, curse words are said, and hands are almost thrown. You will not be disappointed. There are plenty of fights, tears and reveals throughout the conclusion of the finale.
The cast sits down and gives an update on where their relationships stand now. Some of the biggest moments of the season are highlighted and each person gets a chance to explain their side. Let’s get straight into the recap!
