Most people like to lay low following a massive scandal so they can regroup, reflect, and ultimately, reinvent themselves for the better. However, former Vanderpump Rules cast member Stassi Schroeder is just not one of those people with (seemingly) staged paparazzi photos and early pregnancy announcements. What racism scandals? As a result of her racially offensive behavior, she got dropped by many brands. Her podcast was removed from all platforms. Her agent and publicist cut ties with her. She got fired from Vanderpump Rules. Then, she hired a crisis management team.
But at least, she has one good thing going on right now. Stassi and Beau Clark are expecting their first child in January
and have been using this news to deflect from the Faith Stowers scandal and build up some goodwill.
Just like many others, Lisa Vanderpump has been keeping to herself, quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic. Unlike the rest of us, she’s in a Beverly Hills mansion full of pink accents, diamonds, and some pets. Even so, that doesn’t mean she’s had it all. She had been missing her daughter Pandora Vanderpump this whole time.
Yesterday, Lisa shared a photo with Pandora and a bunch of dogs at Villa Rosa. She was happy to be reunited with her daughter. However, the mother/daughter duo caught some shade in the comments.
LA Pride has become a staple on each Vanderpump Rules season. Every year, Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the cast members go all out for Pride. Every single one of them gets in on the celebration.
And, for the most part, they all dress up in some festive outfits, especially the ladies. And Tom Sandoval, of course. He always comes through for a thematic event and Pride is no exception.
You know that old saying, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you”? It looks like the main players on the Vanderpump Rules stage missed that one. Fans of the show have enjoyed watching people test relationship boundaries, become obsessed with former loves, and make poor decisions in general. Luckily for stars like Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, and Kristen Doute, they have been afforded the benefit of making a hefty salary in the process.
Now the once young, attractive, eager-to-achieve-stardom crew have matured into, well, older versions of what they were before. The difference is they are currently doing it with the ability to purchase $2 million dollar homes. This is thanks to Lisa Vanderpump, because, after all, she hired them in the first place. She even went so far as to partner up with two of the show’s veterans, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz to open the stunning TomTom. One might assume they would be grateful for the opportunities Lisa has given them. One might assume they would appreciate not having to work paycheck to paycheck at a 9 to 5 job. And one might assume they would appreciate the benefits of fame that were basically SURved to them on a silver platter. Well, my friends, one might be wrong…
Are Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz Lisa Vanderpump’s business partners or not? Based on the small snippets we get to see on Vanderpump Rules, it’s as if she can’t decide. One minute, she’s entrusting them to come up cocktails for the menu. The next, she asks her daughter Pandora Vanderpump to take on the task instead. On last night’s episode, Lisa had the Toms come up with some drink recipes for a Daily Mail event.
During that same episode, Lisa banned Tom and Tom from being present when Nick Alain, their restaurant designer, showed up with decor and furniture for the restaurant. Really? They can’t even help unload boxes for a restaurant named in their honor? Nevertheless, they showed up anyway much to Lisa’s (perceived) dismay. She claimed that she didn’t want to leave them in suspense if they saw everything before it was set up, but that just doesn’t make the most sense.
Yes, we get it, Lisa and Ken Todd have contributed a majority of the money to TomTom and they have greater ownership in the restaurant. And, of course, there’s no doubt that they’re experts in this industry. Nevertheless, the inconsistent inclusion of Tom and Tom at a restaurant called TomTom is pretty ironic. Tom Sandoval’s girlfriend Ariana Madix stood up for the Toms and called out Vanderpump Rules production in a series of tweets.
It seems like Lisa Vanderpump has everything in the world. I mean, the woman stars in not one, but two Bravo reality TV shows. She has a great family, reality TV stardom, and plenty of money to spend on herself and her favorite philanthropic causes.
However, there’s one thing that she will never have. It’s not something she “can’t” have, but she just something she does not want. Believe it or not, LVP refuses to get a credit card.
During the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 premiere, Lisa Vanderpump chastized Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz for slacking on the Tom Tom cocktail menu. Ultimately, she decided to rely on her daughter Pandora Vanderpump to finish the task.
Sandoval lamented, “I didn’t realize Pandora is a mixologist now.” Did he just forget that the cameras were rolling? Obviously, that remark was going to make it into an episode. She is the boss’s daughter and her partner in several business ventures. That really wasn’t a smart comment to make. On the bright side, it doesn’t seem like Pandora caught wind of it until several months later. However, that did not stop her from clapping back.
This season of Vanderpump Rules is opening on some strange notes, like the freestyle rappings of James Kennedy, and the scent of death and sadness mixed with the sticky spills of rose, goat cheese, and Jax Taylor‘s attempts to impersonate how he thinks a decent man should behave (tampon shopping!)
Immediately it becomes apparent that this will be another season of everyone villainzing James while pretending Jax is a new man as they plan his wedding to Brittany Cartwright. Forgiving Jax and hating James are literally the only subjects this show has anymore. And James, like the little whack-a-mole he is, will come back for hit after hit, cause he’s the White Kanye Baby and hits is what they do!
Far less frivolous are Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent dealing with painful losses in their lives. Lala’s father passed away from a stroke 2 months earlier, and she has inherited his mantra to be kind. Even to sketchy people. (Lest their names be James.) Lisa is mourning the loss of her brother, her only sibling, who committed suicide 5 weeks before filming started. Wow – that’s so devastating.
