In less surprising news, rumors are flying that Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s marriage is in trouble. The newlyweds were married in June in Brittany’s home state Kentucky with family, friends, cast members, and cameras watching.
The wedding was one of the most anticipated events in reality TV this year with promises of Disney princesses, beer cheese, and selfies. If you follow any of the cast members on social media, you would have seen hundreds of photos from the wedding weekend.
There are very few things in this life that I am 100% certain about. I am 100% certain that if I am running late, there will be traffic. I am 100% certain that when I’m “not drinking tonight,” I will have consumed 10 tequila shots by 9 pm. I am also 100% certain that Scheana Marie involves herself in very public, and messy, romantic entanglements for dramatic purposes.
First, there was poor Mike Shay. Scheana and Mike had a marriage that was over before it really even begun. But the blessed union put her front and center on Vanderpump Rules for the majority of that season, and that’s all that really matters. I wonder if Scheana is bitter about the fact that Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s wedding was an over-the-top extravaganza paid for by sponsored Instagram posts, and all Scheana got was a crop-top wedding dress and a bunch of bedazzled silk roses? After her divorce from Mike, she moved on to Rob Valletta, whose name she mentioned at every. Possible. Opportunity. Then, last season, she badgered poor Adam Spott into “dating” her, and immediately tried to make him jealous by making out with Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise-alum, Adam’s friend, Robby Hayes.
Minus the exclusion of one British DJ and his girlfriend, most of the Vanderpump Rules cast got along during Season 7. Not-so-coincidentally, it was the least eventful season so far. It’s great that everyone is settling down and moving into houses in the Valley, but that doesn’t sound like exciting TV to me.
Well, apparently the Pump Rules crew is making up for the Season 7 snooze. Or at least that’s what it seems like based on social media. Jax Taylor appears to be on the outs with Tom Sandoval, one of two best men in his very recent wedding. He’s also not following Kristen Doute, Ariana Madix, and Scheana Marie, who were his wife Brittany Cartwright’s bridesmaids. Again, this wedding happened at the end of June. How did things change so much in such a short span of time? Or was this wedding weekend just a complete sh*t show full of drama?
Is Lisa Vanderpump opening a business in Miami, Florida? She hasn’t confirmed that, but she hasn’t denied it either. Pretty much everything LVP does garners attention and support, so why not take her empire to the sunshine state and make some more cash?
She just opened up Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas. She also owns SUR (duh), Tom Tom, Pump, and Villa Blanca in West Hollywood. Aside from those restaurants, she also has the Vanderpump Dogs foundation in the same area. If she does have tentative project in Miami, will it be a restaurant, a dog center, or something else?
Remember when Vanderpump Rules used to be about friends getting drunk and sleeping with one another? Now that most of the cast have significant others, legally or otherwise, the conflicts have taken a different turn. Have we seen the last of Jax Taylor and his promiscuous ways? Is Kristen Doute no longer stalking her ex-boyfriends? Has Katie Maloney put down the tequila bottle forever? With all of the “adulting” going on, you have to wonder if the show has lost it’s edge. Sure, next season we will get fancy houses and more weddings than we asked for, but do we really want that from Pump Rules?
At any rate, you might be aware the friends are feuding again. Stassi Schroeder stopped looking at her engagement ring long enough to admit this season’s drama is “killing her”. She’s not talking to Kristen anymore, basically shunning her to Scheana Marie Island. Bille Lee has left the scene entirely, though
no one really cares her storylines only revolved around being unliked. Last week we found out Kristen, Tom Sandoval, and Ariana Madix’s new face unfollowed Jax on social media. Now we might have the reason behind the blowout. In an interesting departure from the norm, this argument involves a servant of God. Kind of. And on the fifth day, the Lord said, give them petty!
Life Isn’t All Diamonds and rosé, sometimes it’s much more disgusting. Sad but true in the restaurant business. Recently, news broke about Lisa Vanderpump’s decadent hotspot SUR being the scene of a
fabricated event medical emergency. Heavily featured in Vanderpump Rules, the ambiance is romantic, sinful, and possibly cleaned by a Hazmat crew.
That’s if you believe the claim of one former SUR patron, who had an incredibly unsatisfactory dining experience. Two years ago. Allegedly. In a story that
no one believes left the complainant humiliated and much thinner, details were shared about their (ALLEGED) unpleasant experience. The specifics were almost textbook in nature, yet there is no evidence of the graphic occurrence. Now SUR is responding, and co-owner Natalie Zapata wants the unhappy customer to have a seat. Just not at her table.
If I didn’t already know that Bille Lee had quit Vanderpump Rules, I would have thought she was a major player in the upcoming season. She has been all over social media as of late. Billie dished about her relationship with Lisa Vanderpump’s son, Max Todd. Then she announced that she is ready to have a baby. Is there anyone on the show, besides Ariana Madix, who doesn’t want to have a baby?
One of the main reasons Billie decided to leave the show was because she felt like she was bullied. Last season, Lala Kent went mental on Billie during her brunch event, and Katie Maloney left her out of the planning for SUR’s Girls Night Out. And now Jax Taylor is in the mix with some choice words of his own for Billie.
Brittany Cartwright is “on the brim,” y’all! Brittany didn’t tell Randall Emmett’s ex-wife Ambyr Childers to “rawt in hell,” but she probably would have if she had the chance.
Brittany stepped up to defend Lala Kent after Ambyr ranted on social media about Lala posting photos of the two daughters that she shares with Randall, Lala’s fiancé.
If the checks don’t bounce, If all goes according to plan, Lala will be Mrs. Randall Emmett in April 2020. This also means that she will become a stepmother, but before that happens, Ambyr does not want to see her kids on Lala’s Instagram page.
