Barbara-waiting

On the latest episode of Teen Mom 2, Barbara Evans arrives in New York to meet Jace’s dad, Andrew Lewis. She calls Jenelle Evans to let her know she has arrived and discusses the upcoming meeting.  Barbara arrives at the restaurant to meet Andrew and surprise…. He doesn’t bother to show up! She calls and leaves an angry message about wasting her time when she tried to help him see his son.

Andrew finally calls Barbara back and claims his dad has stage three lung cancer, so he is at his family’s home in Florida. If that is true, that is sad and reasonable excuse to miss their meeting. But why didn’t he just call or text and tell her that before she came to New York? This is exactly why I would have made him meet me, rather than fly to meet him. Jace is his son, so he should be taking the initiative to see him.

Eva Marcille Wedding - Real Housewives Of Atlanta

It was a wedding and practically a funeral on last night’s Real Housewives Of AtlantaEva Marcille said “I Do” to Michael Sterling in a super lavish ceremony and reception that was completely upstaged by NeNe Leakes‘ drama with everyone.

Eva’s wedding gown consisted of a 400 foot train (length and width) with these weird insect leg things that propelled out from her bust like rings of Saturn. Essentially the bottom part was Princess Diana. Meanwhile, the top was Alien Queen. I really didn’t get the effect.

Especially when coupled with Eva’s hair, which featured an ENORMOUS crown thingy that looked like it belonged with a Frozen costume and frizzy hair underneath her veil. Also, super long pointy matte white nails like she painted them with White-Out. You know you did that in middle school too! Anyway, I felt like the whole look was stiff, overdone, and not particularly flattering. Very costume-like. Just me?

Eva Marcille - Real Housewives Of Atlanta

On tonight’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta Eva Marcille finally walks down the aisle with her 3 dresses and giant outstanding checks in tow.

I assume Eva also managed to find time to buy a dress for her daughter to walk down the aisle in?

Survivor: Edge of Extinction Episode 4 Recap: We Are Family

Luck has always played a large part in the game of Survivor. Still, after one of the craziest tribe swaps in the game’s history, it’s pretty clear that fate has smiled on some players more than others. We’ve seen the same tribe attend the first three Tribal Councils of the season. While there was technically a different tribe there this week, it was still made up of all the same, familiar faces.

As I do at the beginning of every recap, please heed the following. Remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s Episode 4 of Survivor: Edge of Extinction. If you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap. It is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.

Kailyn-upset-with-Javi

On last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, it’s another day and another reason for Kailyn Lowry to be pissed at all the men in her life. This time, Javi Marroquin is the target of her annoyance. I can’t lie, I would be mad in this instance as well. Apparently, he put his girlfriend, Lauren Comeau down as the other parent on their son’s soccer group texts. When Kailyn, asked him why he would do that, his only response was “don’t travel on soccer days.” Whoa!!! Regardless if a parent has to travel, it doesn’t negate the fact they are the PARENT! Kailyn missed a game when she recently traveled for her podcast, but that doesn’t excuse leaving her out.

Accordingly, to Kailyn, she doesn’t mind Lauren being a third contact, but she shouldn’t be his mother’s replacement. Javi and Lauren discuss Soccer gate and they both don’t think it’s a big deal. Lauren feels like she is his partner and “it isn’t his responsibility to cater to her feelings.” I’m sorry, but they are not married and it IS Kailyn’s son. She has every right to say something about being left out.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Last night the Real Housewives Of Atlanta entered the dungeon … NeNe Leakes‘ closet – and no one emerged unscathed!

It’s a few days after NeNe’s “Bye Wig” party, and it would be a welcome relief if the only drama had been Kim Zolciak getting dragged out by her wig. But, alas it was far worse! It was actually a pregnant Porsha Williams being chased out (or dragged out by her belt?) for going in NeNe’s closet without permission. Seriously -what happened with the belt?!

Porsha meets up with Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton for a mid-afternoon gab session, and even though she does NOT – under no circumstance! – want to talk about belts, Porsha is wearing a dress with like 3 attached dress. So Freudian belt? Subliminal message?

Kandi Burruss - Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Tonight Real Housewives Of Atlanta fans will finally get to enter Kandi Burruss‘ notorious sex dungeon – albeit in a massive Fifty Shades Of Gray style variety show featuring erotic dances. Um… fun?

However first the women are still dealing with the fallout from NeNe Leakes‘ meltdown during her wig-free party. Porsha Williams isn’t even sure how to address the situation, while Marlo Hampton isn’t just worried about NeNe, but also concerned that Shamari DeVoe has a drinking problem!

Survivor: Edge of Extinction Episode 3 Recap: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Who you calling “chicken”? Tonight’s latest episode of Survivor: Edge of Extinction might have ended up feeling “fowl” for one unlucky player, but for the four chickens that were won as reward, it was literally a matter of life and death. One player put all of her eggs in one basket in an attempt to save them, hoping that her actions wouldn’t come home to roost…while elsewhere a tender nugget of information that was shared ended up sending one over-confident player right into the fryer and straight to the Edge of Extinction.

OK, I’ll stop. As I do at the beginning of every recap, please heed the following: Remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s Episode 3 of Survivor: Edge of Extinction.
