Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes continues to have a bad week. First came major backlash from fans of the show following her behavior on the latest episode, and now a not so flattering interview by one of her stepsons.
In the interview with RadarOnline, 34-year-old Damian Leakes, who happens to be one of Gregg Leakes’ five children pre-Nene, is claiming Nene disowned him and his other siblings. And it gets even better as Damian now wants he and his forgotten siblings to get their own reality show.
“We are the forgotten side of the family. There’s so much talent with the kids he left behind,” Damian said of not being included or acknowledged on the Bravo hit show. “She knows us and she knows we have issues from about 15 years ago and it’s time to address them. She’s become a household name with our last name, but we’re non-existent.”
Gregg’s children include Damian and his twin brother Daryl, Katrina, 27; Dexter, 25; and Denton, 21. Damian also confirms that Gregg did indeed meet Nene while she was stripping at a strip club in Atlanta near his father’s workplace. “No one really knew about her stripper past. That alone was a selling point for her to say ‘get rid of them because they met me at the strip club,’ Damian said.
Damian goes on again to pitch his own reality show. “We need some closure,” Damian stated. “We need to know what did we do to cause this? What did we do to get Gregg to say ‘I’m going to abandon this family! I’m not going to try to be your friend or work with you or understand!’ We knew she [NeNe] didn’t like us– maybe he had too many kids. A TV show could be building process for Gregg and his kids because no one ever knew he had kids. There’s a lot of healing that needs to go on and a lot of animosity.”
Damian bashes Nene some more. “I think [Nene] has a lot to do with the crumbling of our family,” Damian added.“We think of her as selfish and a center-of-attention freak. She wants all of the attention and this is before a camera ever got on her.”
Moving right along. For the few fans of the show who are not aware of Cynthia Bailey’s marital status, she did indeed get married to Peter Thomas.
It was all over the press last year when the wedding took place in July. In fact, we also wrote about it. The pictures however have been kept under wraps, that is until now. Essence magazine plans to publish the wedding images in their next issue while the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, out on newsstands today, also has some exclusive photos of Cynthia on her big day. Two of those are below.
And finally, Sunday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta was its highest rated in the history of Bravo. Over 3.43 million viewers tuned in! And once again, RHOA is the highest rated housewives franchise, beating out the former leader – RHONJ. Drama does sell indeed.

OhOh, Cynthia’s dress is awful and the bustier just like her daughter’s sash is ill-fitting.
I can see the dress being haute couture (whatever), but sorry it is not a beautiful wedding dress.
It is distracting and has a lot of (cheap looking) 80′s details.
It is very wrinkled also making it look like a cheap prom dress.
Bad choice of fabric.
I see Father of the Bride, where is the Groom?

On a positive note I can picture CYNTHIA wearing this on the runway looking absolutely flawless.
NeNe’s stepson wants money just like his greedy ass daddy! It seems like everyone around NeNe wants something. Family issues need to stay in the family and there is no need to air it out on national tv. Greg’s son needs to find another way to make money without using NeNe’s name… as for cynthia congrats girl you look beautiful BUT MAKE SURE PETER PAYS THAT MONEY BACK GIRL!

Cynthia is absolutely one of the sweetest coolest chicks this housewives franchise has ever seen. I hope she is very happy and that Peter treats always treats her w/love and respect.

Yes, Cynthia’s face looks gorgeous and she is. However that dress what or who talked her into that mess and her poor little daughter, Their dresses looked like wrapping paper from Christmas. Very disappointing for me, but I have to believe that Cynthia could not have been pleased.

That dress was too overwhelming for her frame. You barely saw her face!
Why would she get married to “Fiddler” who owes her money? This is not a positive start for a marriage.
The dress and color scheme was pretty cool but that thing around her neck takes away from the dress. I can’t wait for the season finale and the reunion show. Hopefully after watching this season she’ll realize that NeNe’s friendship is as useful as a broken umbrella.
One more thing….why are they standing so far away from each other? They’re newleyweds, you’d think that he wouldn’t be able to pry his hands off of her. Also, I would have expected to see pics of the couple with his children too. Uh oh. Cynthia could’ve benefited from more counseling before putting on that dress.

Cynthia looked gorgeous and I liked the dress but it didn’t look like a wedding dress. I thought her daughter look very pretty. As for Gregg’s children, they should stop trying to cash in on NeNe. They are grown and no one cares about their childhood or what she did to them. I don’t like NeNe this season. She is being mean, vindictive and must be the center of attention. She has a lot of anger issues that needs to be addressed. For someone who is against domestic violence she is sure “in your face” when she gets mad and she has attacked Kim twice.
A very interesting dress for a very beautiful woman. Not that it matters any, my personal verdit is still out there….However, more concerned that you married mysoginistic control freak, aka Jim Bellino and Simon Barney.
Truly hope NeNe gets help for her anger management issues.

Absolutely loved Cynthia’s dress. The girl has class, heart and verve! Who would let someone design their wedding dress and show up sigh unseen to put it on and wear it! The color is fabulous, I love the non-traditional look, the huge bow on the shoulder set it off…Just hope the wedding last, there were serious issues before the marriage and that usually spells disaster. Good luck to both and the darling daughter!Nene is overbearing…hope she gets help before its too late and she has alienated all her friends. Praying for Greg, he’s in a bad place! Wish everyone would quit hating on Kim.
I don’t think she should had spent so much on that dress. She would had been able to feed her guess well as well as have an open bar for her guess if she wasn’t so geared to had purchased that dress. Also, where she gave the wedding probably cost a lot too. But I bet those guess gave beautiful and expensive gifts at that time.
He looks too old to bee with cynthia and the little girl hsd on gold slippers. Obviously silver would have been appropriate.
