Kim Zolciak has made a lot of changes since the first seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Hearkening back to the good ol’ days before she was NeNe Leakes‘ mortal enemy, married instead of a mistress, chain smoking and merely a wannabe singer, it’s shocking how much things have changed for the beweaved one. Well, maybe the wannabe singer part hasn’t changed — she still wants to be able to sing, but instead has settled for merely recording some seriously Autotuned pop songs. Ahhh… Kim what must it be like to be you?
Kim spent some time in Chicago this weekend with her new hubs Kroy Biermann and speaking to the Windy City Times, she talks about all the changes that have happened in her life.
Kim is apparently still annoyed over the “definite drama” at her babyshower because of co-star Cynthia Bailey and is still a little bit pissed about Peter Thomas‘ comments to Uptown Magazine. “I didn’t lose anything at the end of the day because Peter and Cynthia didn’t show up until 15 minutes before it was over, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was rude and uncalled for, you know what I am saying?”
“I don’t even know Peter. I don’t spend a lot of time with Cynthia and only know the stories that I hear. Everyone has an opinion but if you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say it at all kind of thing, especially when it is about your wife’s cast members…” Oh the travesties of being a Housewife — you get talked about all the time.
Kim would rather focus on her fabulous married life, calling it “fantastic;” and the happy couple is finally settling into things after their lavish wedding. Kim explains they are considering her trip to Chicago for an appearance a “little honeymoon.” ” I haven’t had the time to enjoy because I have been working a lot. I am happy, and Kroy is such a great guy.”
And Kim is very excited about her new spin-off Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding, which chronicles preparing for her 11-11-11 nuptials, but she can’t give away any details.
Adding that she is so grateful she decided to go and support Sheree Whitfield‘s charity event last season where she met Kroy. “I met him on the show last year for real,” Kim explains. “I always say I am so grateful. I didn’t even want to go to that even that day and had a lot going on then. I went to support Shereé and never would have thought in a million years that I would have met my husband there.”
Speaking of NeNe, her former bestie, Kim is officially over it. “I am at a different place in my life. I wish her well and much success. I am very focused on my family and my husband. That is what I have going on, and I don’t have time for the negativity anymore or the drama.”
Kim is giving credit where credit is due and admitting that NeNe is the reason she was casted on Housewives. “She is the one that introduced me to the producers or what have you,” Kim reveals. “I will always be thankful for that. It has been an incredible journey over all of these years. But she has some anger issues that she needs to deal with…”
In other NeNe news, Tamara Tattles is reporting that the rowdy one, who is currently filming a guest spot on hit TV show Glee, may land a permanent role on series. Then, she’ll be cashing Fox checks!
NeNe apparently filmed a second episode for the series last week, slated to be a Michael Jackson Tribute episode and proving that she is actually in the episodes, NeNe is included in the upcoming Glee promo. NeNe’s role will be that of swim teacher Roz Washington and apparently she is having so much fun filming in LA that she may be heading back there following the cast-wide Christmas break to continue filming more episodes! Something tells me acting might be a natural segue for the overly dramatic Ms. Leakes!
Her first Glee episode is slated to air on January 17, 2012. Her second episode will be airing on Jan 24th. A photo of The Neen on set is below.
Finally, a new episode of RHOA airs tonight on Bravo and Phaedra and Sheree face off over Sheree’s supposed legal representation by Ms. Parks. Good thing Phaedra isn’t really her lawyer! Also on tonight’s episode, Kim and her family move into their new dream house and Cynthia hosts her grand opening for The Bailey Agency, which leads to Kim and NeNe being in the same place at the same time for the first time this season.

Is it just me? I find it offensive to see a man in heels … cause you don’t have to deal with what I deal with on an everyday basis so what gives you the right to walk in my shoes? I can’t stand that mess. It’s foolishness. Hey that’s just me though..

Welcome Debbie It’s a pleasure having you now let’s get to the point. Kim does act like her shit don’t stink when it really does all the way to the bank and yes she does look older than her proclaimed age of 33 and her mother looks like her face melted and they tried to put it back together again. And i don’t care nothing about Ed Hardy designs which i think are hideous absolutely hideous and no child a newborn just coming into this world should have to look at that room.That baby should have warm soothing colors for a newborn and then maybe as gets older the room changes with his age. And if Kim doesn’t pay close attention to Brielle she is going to have problems she trying to hard to be the cool Mom the hip mom, the friend mom, but she needs to be the mother that don’t take NO SHIT and make that child do some damn chores instead of worrying about how her hair and makeup looks. I have a daughter @ 26yo she stands 5″10/12 I’m only 5″6 but believe me she knows she don’t play no damn games with me she was doing chores at 6yo and now she got it down pat and she don’t mess me no way no how. I tell her I’m your mother 1st and your friend a far 2nd so don’t get it twisted if you try me the wrong way you’re going to wish you never tried!!!. And that’s what Kim to try to do with those girls especially with the older one.Sorry to rant on about Kim but she pisses me off with her bullshit and if that marriage does last it would be a surprise to me. Poor Cynthia words cannot explain her actions i made her previous post saying maybe one day Cynthia will go see the wizard to get her a brain click her heels 3 times and say I don’t want to be married , I don’t want to married!!!!!. @352 Just a bit of trivia, high heels were invented to be worn by men. At one point, initially, it was a crime if men did not wear heels in public. No joke. Look it up.

Was anyone at all offended at Kim Z spewing insults at Marlo for being an admitted “kept woman”? At least she’s honest and not hiding behind some fake “engagement” to cover up her infidelities with a married man. Kim had THE NERVE to make references to Marlo using her “hole” to get money, and even went so far as to say “Who does that?!” Takes one to know one Kimmy!!! You did it for YEARS, and made sure you made a few personal deposits and stock-piled expensive furniture and home wares in your “four storage units” before your gravy train came to an abrupt halt. She actually said Brielle needs to “work for the things you get”. REALLY?! How can she possibly be taken seriously by her daughters with regard to working for what they get, when they have witnessed her “use HER “hole” to get what she wants for years? I don’t recall her mentioning anything about trekking up and down marble floors tending to sick patients in order to furnish her townhome and make her Bentley payments, LOL. ……Ms. “Registered Nurse”. The broads on this show are the epitome of pretentious, fake, superficiality. I’ve never seen more scripted, insincere hugs and greetings in all my days. They bash each other one minute and offer insincere support, hugs and kisses the next. They are each in serious competition with one another. An embarrassment to Atlanta. We aren’t all like these trifling bitches.
Kim was acting like that because her husband was standing there. She was ashamed so acted like she was above it all.
I think when Kim said “who does that?” she meant ‘who ADMITS doing that’ !!

@Bryan – I love RuPaul’s Drag Race…it’s a shame that most of the men look better than men when they get all dolled-up!
And on a seperate note: I laugh everytime I read someone’s comment on here about Kim talking about Marlo being with married men and or having big poppas. Has no one ever heard of sarcasm? Good God people…KIM WASN’T BEING SERIOUS!!!
