Congrats to Leah Messer? At the tender age of 19, the Teen Mom 2 star is pregnant once again and gearing up for her second marriage according to UsWeekly and E! News.
In fact, Leah’s new fiancé Jeremy Calvert confirmed the news to the all new Reality Weekly magazine.
“Yes, Leah is having my baby!” Jeremy tells Reality Weekly via the Hollywood Life. “I was at work when Leah called to tell me. She’d gotten blood work done and it came back positive. At first I was kind of surprised — but I was happy.”
Jeremy, 22, goes on to reveal he proposed to Leah on Dec. 25. “We got engaged on Christmas Day,” he states. “I bought an ornament for the tree that said ‘Engaged’ with both our names on it and the date. And when I saw Leah looking at it, that’s when I gave her the ring. It’s a 1.5 princess-cut diamond.”
As for Leah’s ex-husband/father of her twin girls Corey Simms, Jeremy reveals all is well between all parties. “We both get along with Corey,” Jeremy shared. “We drop the kids off and we talk. It works.” Indeed, Corey’s new girlfriend Summer Tavarez recently revealed that “Corey likes Jeremy a lot.”
Jeremy adds that he feels Leah will make a great mother and wife. “Nothing ever gets Leah down,” he says. “She stands strong for the kids. And I know that no one is better to have as your kids’ mother than Leah.”
Leah and Jeremy started dating last August. This would be Leah’s third child (she is the mother of two-year-old twins Aliannah and Aleeah). Leah filed from divorce from Corey last April after only six months of marriage.
I’m sorry but personally, I find this to be quite tragic. This has disaster written all over it. A possible two marriages and three kids all at the age of 19? What happened to just being a teenager and enjoying life? I’m guessing the pregnancy came first and then the shot-gun engagement. Wowzers.

The girls make money now, but trust, they will burn through it, they are not making very bright decisions. The only smart girl is Kailyn, she has her head on straight.
@53: I agree that these girls are lousy with their money but I’m going to have to disagree about kailyn. She is just as bad IMO. She stole from her Mom. If she has been working two jobs and getting child support from Jo while not paying ANY rent for years, then why the need to steal furniture and a TV? She should quite a nest egg for that since she is only paying fifty bucks a month in rent and yet nada. That’s not good financial planning.

@54 – Kailyn is just as bad – I completely agree! Especially since she DOES bank so much from MTV and STILL continues to act as if she is “so broke” and “so doing her best”.
She stole from her mom and people jumped the mom. If I walked in my parent’s house tonight (I’m 32 btw) and took their LCD TV off the wall and then called them later to tell them; I GUARANTEE my dad would be saying “Bring my damn TV back right now!!”.
Kailyn is JUST as bad. And will likely be pregnant right after Chelsea (next).
@57: Oh I know although I think what we are seeing on the show right now (except for those HORRIBLY edited “re-enactments”) is before they got the payoff. In teen mom OG, you could definitely tell they had gotten some cash from MTV because their cars and apartments had been upgraded. On this show, the stories picked up right where they left off and is a whole freaking year behind.
As far as cashing tabloid checks, K doesn’t need those to purchase a damn bed and a tv, lol.

Unfortunately, in today’s society very young children are not taught or shown how to save for a rainy day. As a much older person than most of you on this board, in my day we had a savings acount program in school and I would save 10 cents to 25 cents that’s all we had in my home. My bank account grew and with a very successful 35 year career I learned how to manage my money. I don’t have the desire to buy everything I see nor do I need those items.

@67: You don’t know about the personal lives of anybody on this board and I bet you there are plenty people here who have in fact grown in homes without parental love AND some who grew up in foster care where they were only a paycheck to their caregivers. In addition, at 19 I knew damn well not to organize a home invasion and steal from my own mom. What she did was no worse than Janelle steal Barb’s credit card. Oh, and at 19, I never borrowed over $600 from someone, promise to pay it back and then be forced to own up to my promise.
If true, this is truly tragic. This poor girl is so lost. She just keeps going from bad to worse. So sad. My heart breaks for her two young daughters.
This is just terribly sad… a 19 year old girl should not have three children at her age let alone a divorce and a new marriage. She should be in college with other kids her age, not changing diapers. I love the shows on Bravo, but if it was me doing the progamming, I wouldn’t want to be earning ratings based on a show about teenage moms.
If Leah were really parenting those babies like a real mom, having twins would be birth control. Truth is, everyone else raises them…I’m betting her mom, corey’s parents, and even corey do more for those girls than she does.

Chelsea is just spoiled…she wants what she wants, and even if Adam doesn’t want her, she forces him into a relationship. Adam is a jerk, but some of it comes from the way she treats him off camera…I can just tell she orders him around.
I can’t understand why Kailyn is getting subsidized housing, when she gets a check from MTV. Also. Why does Jenelle still live at home? She also gets a check. She certainly have enough money to bail Kiefer out of jail. Is the Teen Mom money in a Trust Fund? I would like to see Jenelle move out. She and her mom do not get along. I know Jenelle has issues. But her mom is very emotionally and verbally abusive. She has no business having custody of Jace. She being the adult should learn how to filter her words. Especially in front of her grandson.

It wasn’t too long ago that people got married and had kids this young. I think it’s better to finish college and then get married and start a family, but Leah had already chosen a different path. I think she acts very mature and seems devoted to her kids. I think she should stay home with them while they’re young if possible. I think if they keep God and their children at the center of their lives, they can have a very happy and successful marriage (I have to admit, I thought the same about her and Corey, but it looked like maybe Corey could never get over her cheating on him earlier in their relationship?). I hope the best for Leah and Jeremy and their family.
After reading some of these comments, I’m kind of disturbed! I completely agree that in this day and age, people should get a college degree or put a couple of years in at a profession of their choosing, date someone for a while (two years if possible), then get married, have a place to live, then have babies, but for people to insuiate that she is going to murder her children because she is young, is ridiculous!! Kids/babies can definitely make you frustrated, but as I said before, it used to be the norm to get married at eighteen and start having kids right away. My m-i-l was married at eighteen, had five kids by the time she was twenty-five (we live in the North by the way) and one of them had a chronic health problem and even though I wouldn’t say she was the best mother, she did okay. I’m just trying to point out that while it may not be the best decision for most people, it’s hardly unheard of or horrifying!

This was shocking to me as well!! I am sorry but Leah needs a reality check. I agree with the other comments…she already has two babies and a failed marriage (which should not have happened anyway). Now, she is divorced with 2 babies, one with special needs, engaged and pregnant again…all at the age of 19???!!! And her mother is saying what??I mean she was dating Corey for a hot second before she got pregnant in the first place. Now she is dating for a hot second shortly after filing for divorce and pregnant again. Does birth control mean anything?? I understand that she is somewhat grown but let’s be real here.
