Poor Kandi Burruss. These lesbian rumors just won’t stop even though she only just heard about them during the last RHOA episode thanks to wannabe Housewife Marlo Hampton. This chatter has been going on for multiple episodes, yet this is the first time Kandi found out about it – in a group setting and in front of the cameras, of course.
Poor Cynthia Bailey‘s divorce progress got pushed to the back burner as soon as Marlo decided to put Kandi on blast after repeating what Sheree Whitfield told her. Still, Cynthia actually did feel the love from the RHOA ladies when she made her announcement. Cynthia discussed the progress of her divorce, the support from her cast members, and this chatter about Kandi and her her alleged secret sex life with Bravo.
The current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been pretty wild, but I will always miss the golden era of RHOA. The show hasn’t been the same since we saw NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, and Sheree Whitfield arguing with each other, shifting sides, and pulling wigs. That’s why I’m pretty pumped and hopeful that these rumors about NeNe and Kim coming back to the show may be true.
I never expected either of them to return to the show full time. I just figured – if anything – Kim and NeNe would make a few cameo appearances, stir stuff up, avoid the fray, and then collect their paychecks.
This has been a rough season of Vanderpump Rules for Katie Maloney – to put it mildly. Based on the footage that has been shown, the viewers have not been feeling Katie this season. She even had her Twitter on private for a while. So I am curious to know what Katie thinks of her portrayal and what she has to say about her issues with Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix.
Katie went from being the person everyone was rooting for on Pump Rules to the cast member who is definitely getting the most heat from the fandom. Katie opened up about a lot of topics, from baby plans with Tom Schwartz and their (lack of) birth control method to those rumors about Jax Taylor‘s dip in the man pond back in the day to the downtown action that allegedly went down between Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute.
The last Real Housewives of New York reunion was awkward for many reasons, but one of the standout moments for me was when Bethenny Frankel called her new boyfriend Dennis Shields‘ daughter to verify that they did not have an affair and that she’s on good terms with the family. That was beyond cringe-worthy and the complete opposite of being low key. Apparently, that moment was a lot less significant than it seemed because Bethenny says their relationship isn’t that serious.
I’m not sure if Bethenny is taking a step back or if she’s just clarifying a story that’s been out there for a while. It could also have to do with the legal drama stemming from Bethenny and ex husband Jason Hoppy’s confrontation at their daughter Bryn‘s school. Either way, Bethenny is making it clear that this relationship with Dennis is not super serious – at all.
It has been a rough ride for Stassi Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules. She went from the undisputed queen of the show (and birthdays) to leaving and returning to grovel for the cast’s forgiveness. Now that Stassi is back in the fold, she has a lot to say about the cast.
Kim Richards isn’t even a Housewife on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season, yet she is the only thing anyone talks about. This is the third year Lisa Rinna has used Kim for her story line, and now she has the new girl Eden Sassoon in on meddling in Kim and Kyle Richards‘s relationship especially when it comes to Kim’s sobriety. Lisa claimed that she “didn’t remember” stating that Kim was “close to death” and cried to deflect from guilt. Well, obviously Kim wasn’t too happy watching that episode and she shared her thoughts on Twitter.
What is up with Lisa Rinna? Does she not know she is on a reality TV show? Did she really think she could get away with blatantly lying about a VERY SERIOUS subject? Apparently so, because Lisa definitely came off as a pretty awful person during the last episode.
In my opinion, the ladies on Real Housewives of New York were way too hard on Sonja Morgan last season. From criticizing her (attempted) business ventures to her partying habits, everyone was coming for her. So, Sonja shut them all up and decided to stop drinking.
No one is perfect, but Sonja was unfairly treated as a human punching bag last season. So it will be interesting to see how people interact with her next season since she has been sober for so long and is surprisingly successful with her clothing line. On a recent podcast, Sonja opened up about what it is like being on the show, having regrets, and the other women’s drinking.
The best reality shows are the ones that involve already existing friend groups – instead of just a mix of people thrown together by a casting director. That said, some of the saddest reality show story lines involve the demise of these real life friendships.
Case in point, everyone who has been watching Summer House has seen the slow (and agonizing) end of Cristina Gibson and Lindsay Hubbard’s friendship. Things have become ugly for the two of them and it’s clear that they did not make up since the show wrapped up filming at the end of the summer.
