Couples Therapy

Janice Dickinson joins Couples Therapy season 6

Couples Therapy is back – and per the usual some our favorite reality stars from other shows are migrating to Dr. Jenn in the hopes of salvaging their relationships! Apparently people need reality television cameras for that… (complains I who relishes in watching!). In the newly released super teaser VH1 teases all the major breakdowns, arguments, tears, and tantrums.

Season 6 promises to be “the most explosive ever” but is also endearing. Featuring reality television veterans such as Janice Dickinson (fresh from Celebrity Big Brother!) and Big Ang of Mob Wives fame. This season confronts serious issues such as gender identity, drug and alcohol abuse, and domestic violence. When the cast learns Carmen Carrera is transgender, predictably (and very unfortunately) not everyone is accepting.

Couples Therapy Season 6 Big Ang and Neil

We haven’t heard much from Angela “Big Ang” Raiola recently as the beloved reality star has been battling throat cancer. However, after opting for two major surgeries instead of chemotherapy, the Mob Wives scene-stealer is recovering well after doctors removed a tumor the size of a lemon from her throat.

Big Ang is rarely filmed for the VH1 series without an ever-present cigarette dangling from her giant painted lips, but that is no longer the case. Diagnosed in March, Big Ang immediately gave up the nasty habit cold turkey. She’s ready to be back in business, and her struggle with cancer, as well as relationship stresses with husband Neil Murphy, will be featured on the upcoming season of Couple’s Therapy

Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn

VH1 has decided that we all need a little more Dr. Jenn Berman Mann in our lives. Clearly, VH1 is wrong, but I digress. Yesterday, the network announced a Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn spin off, Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn.

This is great news for the fame whores, has beens, and never wases who are desperate to extend their 15 minutes of fame but don’t have a significant other. (not that this minor detail stopped Farrah Abraham)

The first season will feature parents of no year ever Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan, entrepreneur Damon Dash, Teen Mom 3 man hater Briana Dejesus, Jackass star Bam Margera, and I Love New York star Tiffany Pollard.

Couples Therapy season 6 withBig Ang

Mark your calendars – season six of Couples Therapy premieres Wednesday, October 7th. In addition to the premiere date, VH1 has released a sneak peek of the new season, which features several reality TV stars. Because, of course.

Season 6 will focus on the relationship woes of Mob Wives star Big Ang and Neil Murphy, Creed frontman Scott Stapp and Jaclyn Stapp, RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Carmen Carrera and Adrian Torres, former Love & Hip Hop star Joe Budden and Kaylin Garcia, and Janice Dickinson and Rocky Gerner.

Check out the Couples Therapy season 6 sneak peek trailer below, on which Big Ang gives Dr. Jenn the look of death, Joe admits he’s in love with two women, Janice breaks down in tears, Scott talks about his troubles, and more.

Internet's Most Fascinating Farrah Abraham

Farrah Abraham‘s interviews never fail to amuse me, and her latest, talking to Cosmo after they named her one of the Internet’s Most Fascinating People, was no exception. The Teen Mom OG star explained how she deals with her haters, why her fans admire her, how she’s changed over the years, and much more. The highlights:

There are many words in Farrah‘s portfolio of literacy but humble is not one of them. “No matter what I’ve been doing, I’ve been doing the best in it that we know of,” she said. “What I’m saying by that is, if I’m developing novelty toys, I’m winning awards. If I’m writing books, I’m a New York Times best seller – how do I do it all? I don’t know.”

Couples Therapy Season 6 Big Ang and Neil

VH1 has announced the cast for Couples Therapy season 6.

The next round of celebrity-ish couples looking for help from Dr Jenn Berman Mann will be Mob Wives stars Big Ang and Neil Murphy, Creed frontman Scott Stapp and Jaclyn Stapp, RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Carmen Carrera and Adrian Torres, former Love & Hip Hop star Joe Budden and Kaylin Garcia, and Janice Dickinson and Robert “Rocky” Gerner.

I am shocked to see Scott Stapp‘s name on the list so soon after his psychotic break and subsequent diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I wish nothing but the best for Scott and Jaclyn but I personally don’t think a reality show (at least not this show with this doctor) is a healthy environment for him right now.

Courtney Stodden With Mom Krista Keller

In today’s ULTIMATE IRONY, the woman who encouraged her sixteen-year-old daughter to marry a 50-year-old, is now disappointed by the trajectory of her career. Krista Keller has quit managing her daughter Courtney Stodden‘s career in light of Courtney’s sex tape release because, she’s disappointed. Yes, Courtney’s momager has resigned over “serious creative differences.” Apparently Krista would have never released a sex tape – even for the animals, even when threatened by best friends…

Krista explains that Courtney has become “difficult to work with” because of other people interfering in the direction of Courtney’s career. “I love her very much and I decided to step down due to creative differences,” she explains. “I think you can figure out why,” Krista sniffed.

Courtney Stodden Poses As Marilyn Monroe

Courtney Stodden wants everyone to know she’s a benevolent porn star and every penny of the deal she inked with Vivid to release her solo sex tape will go to charity. Oh how kind… actually, yeah, good for her.

The former Couples Therapy star was vacillating on whether or not she’d agree to a deal with Vivid giving her $1 million  to distribute her sexy time footage after claiming a friend stole it from her. Ultimately Courtney agreed to take Vivid’s deal after she learned the “friend”  made several copies of said tape and swore he’d release it publicly no matter what. Thinking about the children, Courtney decided she’d rather have the footage go mainstream professionally.
