Brandi begins by gushing that Amber is a “gangsta!” and marvels that she’s been on TV for a decade yet still stays “relatable.” Amber takes issues with the word relatable, because most people do not have a “telescope” on their deeply personal issues. Amber explains that she spends so much time filming ‘on the couch’ because, “I don’t feel comfortable going out into a public place and talking about … cause in my life some issues I feel are very personal. For other people to just be listening or eavesdropping, it makes me uncomfortable and I’ll shut myself [down]. I want to be truthful.”
Last week Brandi Glanville revealed that Kim Richards‘ dog Kingsley had bitten her twice and was part of the reason why she was so afraid of pitbulls. Today she took to Twitter to clarify what she meant.
Siggy had such potential when she first showed up on the scene immediately after a face lift while she drank lobster bisque through a straw, but she is trying to be a group therapist on a show with viewers who live for the fighting. It doesn’t line up for me. And not only that, but what is her story line? Aside from getting involved with other people’s lives, please tell me. Someone? Please.
I have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed Dorinda Medley on Brandi Glanville‘s podcast. I mean, I could have done without Brandi’s voice, Brandi’s immaturity, and Brandi’s constant interruptions, but the rest was great. Dorinda was great.
Brandi gushes over Dorinda when she calls in and says she doesn’t like how much the Real Housewives of New York have come after her so far this season. Dorinda likens Real Housewives to a sorority: “At first, they kind of take you in, rush you, invite you to the great cocktail parties, then the hazing starts. First season, they get you all in there and let you get your feet wet. Second season is when everyone really tests your strength. A second season can be a make it or break it, personally and professionally.”
Brandi also takes issue with Dorinda‘s RHONY co-stars coming after John Mahdessian, “I think it’s really messed up, especially these women that don’t have men themselves. I feel like they’re just jealous that you’re actually happy.”
Brandi‘s guest is comedian Theo Von, but that’s irrelevant, as Brandi’s podcast is forever about Brandi. Also, in case you were wondering if she has changed since last season, Brandi brags about being “super drunk” last Thursday night.
Brandi reveals that she got rejected by Raya, a dating app for famous people. “They said no to me. I didn’t get accepted. All my friends got on it. They were like, ‘Not at this time.’ I went on my friend’s Raya because I wanted to see what I was missing,” admits Brandi. “I pretty much dated all the guys on there anyway.”
Lisa Rinna, whose lips fingers were made for talking tweeting, took to Twitter to stick up for Lisa and Kyle. “Shut up Brandi Glanville,” she tweeted. “Leave Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards alone.” Lisa also told Brandi to use her podcast to “educate and inspire” and to move on. We knew it was only a matter of sobering up time before Brandi told Lisa to STFU. That time has come.
Brandi first starts off her podcast announcing that she and Snoop Dogg are BFFs and have smoked pot together since they appeared on Khloe Kardashian’s show a week or so ago. She’s very proud of this.
Brandi declares that every podcast will start off with Brandi Fires Back. Her sidekick Mark says “You’re talked about on every episode [of RHOBH] but you don’t get to have your side. That doesn’t make any sense. It’s unfair and Bravo should not let that happen.”
Brandi admits she’s never seen Farrah on Teen Mom, Couples Therapy, or Celebrity Big Brother. And it becomes apparent that Brandi never bothered to research Farrah beyond the tabloid gossip. Brandi begins, “You’ve been on a lot of f–king shows,” adding, “I have only been on two but I started later in life. This is something that happened to you really young.”
“16 and Pregnant is where I found my start,” explains Farrah. “I actually was doing modeling and acting and I accidentally got pregnant. One of my coaches at the time was like, ‘Farrah, you need to keep going, we’ll find you something even if you’re pregnant.’ She sent me an MTV casting. They were looking for women who were 16 and pregnant. I sent it in, and within a week, the show got picked up. It’s been back and forth from 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, and now Teen Mom OG. We’re finishing filming the next season of OG, set for Spring.”
