Jersey Shore’s Pauly D Spinoff Will Debut In Spring! PHOTOS: Snooki Reaches Weightloss Goal!

Well, it’s official part of the Jersey Shore cast is going their separate ways — at least temporarily! Pauly D is getting his own show set to air this spring on MTV!

DJ Pauly D has just wrapped filming for a new reality show and fans can look for it on the network “very soon!” No word yet on what the concept of Pauly’s new show is, but hopefully it will focus a little more on his DJ-ing! “The show is done being filmed,” a source tells HollywoodLife. “Pauly is really excited for the spinoff — he wants to be a part of the Jersey Shore franchise until he’s a senior citizen.”

In other Seaside Heights news Snooki has officially reached her goal weight of 98lbs! The pint-sized guidette has become even more pint-sized as she recently Tweeted that she is now the same weight as she was in high school. Snooki tells fans she has been working out hardcore to achieve her goal and can’t wait to tone up.

The newly svelte Snooks has been posting a plethora of photos on Twitter advertising her new teeny tiny frame and I have to say she looks fantastic! Some of Snooki’s new Twitter pics are below.

Snooki warned Jersey Shore fans that they won’t be seeing her new body on the upcoming season. “Bcuz I was still heavy wen we filmed in July&tats wat ur gonna see Jan 5th. I dont give a shit tho, i feel great now & thats all that”

In the past, Snooki has admitted to struggling with an eating disorder so hopefully she is losing weight healthily. Despite her new healthy lifestyle and physique, it doesn’t seem like Snooki has given up the booze that made her famous. In several of her TwitPics she’s seen holding a glass of libations!

Snooki seems much happier these days and things with her boyfriend Jionni LaValle are apparently going very well based on her Twitter action! Snooki recently wrote, “Had an amazing Christmas with jionni’s family! Love my future husband ;) ”

Jersey Shore Season 5 To Premiere January 5 On MTV! Watch VIDEO Preview!

They’re back! Fresh off the cast’s European excursion to Florence, Italy — MTV has announced it will be kicking off the new year with an all new season of Jersey Shore!

Yes, America’s favorite drunken hotmesses housemates will return to Seaside Heights, NJ, when season five of the MTV hit series premieres on Thursday, January 5, 2012 (10/9c).

Back on their home turf and excited to be in their natural habitat, “the cast hits the ground running to get their “G.T.L” regimen back on schedule while also dealing with their evolving group dynamic amidst the tensions and hookup rumors left over from their time in Florence.”

To mark the special occasion, MTV also released a preview clip for the new season which features DJ Pauly D recovering from a tanning accident after burning his face when trying to get his skin tanned. He was trying to correct the paleness he suffered while in Italy. The rest of the cast is also shown as they prepare to hit their favorite club Karma.

As we reported, the cast began filming season 5 immediately following their return from filming season 4 in Italy. They did not get a break which in turn led to some more drama, such as Vinny Guadagnino quitting the show, only to return days later.

Last night was Jersday for all you Jersey Shore fanatics (no shame in that game!). Mike is slightly immobile, Rawn and Sam get back together (no I’m not re-recapping last week), Pauly and Vin make fun of juiceheads who are juicier than themselves, and Snooki’s relationship with Jionni leaves the house up at arms.

So Mike will be sporting the neck brace for ten days, and it’s quite a situation as it’s rendered him unable to GTL. The horror! After Ronnie tore the house apart and shattered what (if any) was left of Sammi’s self-esteem and dignity the night before, he goes to her in the morning to profess his love. He hopes she’ll let him talk to her later. I am overwhelmed at his maturity…this relationship just may make it after all. They are so cute together and when it’s good, it’s great! In other news, I wish there was a sarcasm font.

Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D Says He’s Too Famous For DWTS! Plus Snooki Will NOT Appear On New Season

After going from a nobody to a fairly famous reality star in a span of less than 2 years, it appears Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D now feels he is really famous!

Just how famous you ask? Well according to him, too famous to do Dancing With The Stars! Wowzers. The Huffington Post interviewed Pauly D, during which he pretty much dissed the ABC hit show, implying it is for has-beens. He does have a point no?

Citing that he has a hot career as a DJ, which brings him over $10,000 per gig, Pauly D, 31, (yes he’s really 31-years-old) stated: “I will do ‘Dancing with the Stars’ when my career dips.” Ouch.

The topic then turned to his costar Snooki and the talks that she had signed on to do the show. “I texted her congratulations about doing ‘Dancing,’ but she texted back ‘am I?’” Pauly D revealed.

In fact, new reports are now stating the Snooks, 23, will NOT be appearing on the show after TMZ prematurely confirmed she had signed on for the new season.

There had been rumors that Snooki wanted more money, but a report by the Hollywood Life blog states the Snooks was simply too busy to do the show. Not sure how this bodes for the so called celebs on the show if Snooki has a busier career than they do.

“They have finalized this seasons cast and Snooki will unfortunately not be doing this season of Dancing With The Stars,”a source stated. “There is no drama between producers and Snooki. She just won’t be available to appear on the show. There is still hope they can get her in a future season though.”

A new episode of the Jersey Shore airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.

Jersey Shore Recap: The Roommates Fall for Each Other…and Just Fall in General

Last night’s Jersey Shore was everything it should be and more. Oh so much more. There was a lot of cursing, a lot of falling, and a lot of inappropriate sausage references. Viva Italia and God bless the Shore.

Episode two of the new season, starts off where else? In the clerb. With the roommates watching, Deena lays one on Pauly D, and there is way more tongue than I need to see. She eats off his bottom lip and reveals her plans to have him as a cuddle buddy that night in hopes of gaining his Italian sausage later in the trip. Is it weird that when that time finally comes, I hope Pauly D comes bounding into the smush room singing “Saus-sege is heeya!” A girl can dream, right? Snooki, on the other hand, isn’t liking the Situation she’s in…you know, the one where the Situation keeps groping her.
