No, she’s not going to be on yet another reality show…although never say never! After all, she’s a veteran of the Real World and Celebrity Wife Swap (she and her beau were featured last month), just to name a few! Tami is expecting her first child with boyfriend Reggie Youngblood. She has two older daughters, Jazz and Lyric, from her previous marriage to NBA star Kenny Anderson. This will be Reggie’s first child.
Mona Scott Young deserves the slowest of slow claps. She is always trying to outdo herself in crazy drama. Unfortunately, she didn’t realize that when she cast Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, she was going to create the perfect storm, one which even the franchise’s creator couldn’t live up to in the grand scheme of VH1.
But, gracious, she certainly keeps trying! In an effort to bring new life to the original Love & Hip Hop, Mona has brought in a few new cast members. None are so memorable as Baltimore native Chrissy Monroe. She dates music producer Chink Santana, she’s got long-standing beef with Erica Mena due to her past as an alleged madame career as a modeling mogul, and she’s got a suitcase full of wigs that leave Kim Zolciak envious. Well, maybe not, but the lady has some serious hair pieces!
Y’all know that the juiciest gossip surrounding the Love & Hip Hop franchise happens in Atlanta, and Mona Scott Young is always trying to keep it that way. That said, one hip hop star has made the rounds, appearing on the crazy Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta before flying north to liven up its more yawn worthy original New York counterpart. Of course I’m talking about K. Michelle! The boisterous talent even garnered her own reality show, K. Michelle: My Life.
Now, rumors are swirling that K. Michelle (and also Mona!) have something to do with the breakdown of the marriage between music executive Memphitz and his wife (and Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife) reality star Toya Wright…but it’s not for the reasons you may think! Come, step inside my time machine…we’re going to rehash some things that went down in 2012!
I think we all can agree that no one is in Benzino’s corner like this gal. I’m his biggest fan. I’m a champion of those with no neck on which to balance their head. I believe that he’s a catch who needs to be appreciated for the complex man that he is. Don’t judge me.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star seems like a stand up character compared to his friends and co-stars, but No-Neck seems to be racking up the arrests lately. It doesn’t look good when the show’s voice of reason keeps finding himself in handcuffs. I’m not going to say Mona was hasty in firing him from the upcoming season, but I’m guessing she is kicking herself from missing the opportunity to get all of Zino’s legal woes on film for ratings.
Mona, Mona, Mona. Leave well enough alone! We’re already tired of Chrissy’s wigs and Peter Gunz’ love triangle on Love & Hip Hop, and people are anxiously awaiting the return of the franchise that doesn’t need any additional drama. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is ratchet on an entirely different level, and regardless of the regurgitated story lines and failed child support payments, it was something the audience revered.
There’s just something about Stevie J’s rat face, Joseline Hernandez’ spandex concoctions, and Lil’ Scrappy’s subtitles that just can’t be duplicated…even though they weren’t the original franchise. Don’t mess with a good thing, Mona. Oh wait…too late.
Stop the bus! We’ve got a lot of Stevie J. news to share. Before I start, I certainly hope that Mona Scott Young has Dr. Drew on speed dial so she can cash in on her Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star’s latest dramz! Celebrity Rehab plus LHH:ATL definitely equals a reality train wreck we’d all tune in to watch. And I’m worried about the future of humanity! 😉
We all know that ol’ Stevie has been battling the feds over a minor child support snafu. Please note that “minor” was supposed to be typed in my special “sarcasm” font. The reality star reportedly owes back support to one the mothers of his children to the tune of over $1 million after neglecting to pay since 2001. His hearing is scheduled for January 9th, but apparently Stevie is hoping to strike a deal. Here’s hoping it happens before he heads to rehab. Yes, you read that correctly!
After last night’s conclusion of the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood reunion, you can rest assured that the other franchises are going to be forced down on throats so Mona can keep riding the wave of ratchet popularity and strike when the iron is hot. Who am I kidding? I live for this stuff!
With the original member of the franchise premiering next week, we’ve got extended footage of your favorite past New York cast members and a veritable swarm of newbies. It seems everyone involved is ready to shock and awe as they prepare for the season while sharing their backgrounds…aka, why they are crazy enough to be on the show! Make sure to check it out after the jump! Of course, not to be outdone, Mimi Faust, the resident sex tape star of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta certainly knows how to stay in the fray. Capitalizing on the hype surrounding the seasons transitioning, Mimi is speaking out about how Nikko Smith used her. *Eye roll* *palm to forehead* At least Ariane isn’t the kind of friend to say, “I told you so…” but I will!
You know what I’d do with the paycheck if I ended up on a reality show (listen up, Andy Cohen!)? I’d pay off my flippin’ student loans. I would not buy a car (although the show’s producers would probably buy one for me so as not to embarrass the rest of the cast with my ride), I would not not live above my means…I would just start slowly chipping away at my massive law school debt. What is it with people that they don’t think they need to pay their bills after they receive a little bit of fame?
I’m looking at you, Benzino. You know I adore you, but you didn’t use your Mona money to get a neck implant, and you sure as heck didn’t use it to pay back Uncle Sam. Now, before y’all start in on me, I realize that Benzino’s career in hip hop began long before his stint on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, as did his money problems. Geez Louise, though! Pay your debts, dude!
