Andy Cohen must teach a secret class to Bravo housewives so they know how to hock wares with the best of them. Whether it’s fruity alcoholic beverages or the always popular cookbook, the ladies from Orange County to New York love to slap their name on a product. And just like that, a brand is born.
The latest housewife offering comes from Real Housewives of New Jersey’sDina Manzo, who has partnered with dermatologists to create a new line of skincare called GLOW by Dina. Not only is Dina spreading the word about her new venture, her friend and former co-star Teresa Giudice is helping her plug GLOW on social media.
Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice were front and center at the Kids Rock! fashion show in New York last night. Melissa and Joe’s kids, Gino, Antonia, and Joey, walked in the show, and Teresa and Milania came to cheer them on.
At the show, Melissasniffed out a reporter chatted with People about her and Teresa‘s contentious relationship. As we saw on Teresa Checks In, Joe and Melissa spent time with Joe, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana while Teresa was in prison. Melissa shared, “Towards the end of her sentence she actually sent me a letter saying how much she appreciated my help with the girls.”
A viewer points out that theReal Housewives of New Jerseystar still hasn’t admitted to committing fraud, only signing papers, and that it makes her want to flip a table. To that, Teresa says, “Flip a table.”
Teresa‘s average day in prison: get up at 6:30, check email, yoga, walk or run the outside track, eat lunch, have coffee, watch CNN, take a nap, get up, work out again, count time at 4:00, work out again, eat dinner, have coffee, work out again, watch TV, go to bed. “I did have a job on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. After breakfast, I would wipe down the tables. That was my job.”
They laugh, they catch up a little, and then Andy mentions, the last time he saw her, it didn’t seem like Teresa was preparing herself for prison. “No, not at all,” she admits. “I was just in the moment and focusing on my daughters. I felt like I was dying. In reality, that’s who I felt. I wanted to, every weekend, do something special with them. Especially with my little baby. I did not want her to forget me.”
Andy talked about their reunion on his Sirius XM radio show yesterday morning.
It’s old news now, but Andy announced the return of theReal Housewives of New Jersey, with Teresa, Melissa Gorga, and Jacqueline Laurita returning as full-time housewives. “There’s been a lot of questions about will Teresa be a housewife. Yes, she will. She’s back. We’re not shooting a special kinda like Teresa Checks In. We are shooting Real Housewives of New Jersey. It is officially in production and you will see it later this year on Bravo,” he added. “We were shooting when Teresaleft Danbury, when she got home, we’ve been shooting for the last few months.” Any new housewives will be announced later.
Teresa Giudice is going to be everywhere this week. When I opened a particular website this morning, there were at least a dozen articles about her and her book! Teresa did two interviews with GMA’s Amy Robach – one pre-taped at her home and then she appeared live in the studio this morning, too. Her pre-taped interview is split into two parts – the second half will be on Nightline tomorrow. In her interviews today she opened up about how she spent her days in prison and still maintains that she didn’t know what she was signing way back when. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also called prison “hell.” She talks about whether she and the girls will move if Joe is deported and so much more.
Amy asks Teresa if she knew she was breaking the law and committing a crime. “Definitely not. I didn’t know I was committing a crime. The government saw it differently, I got sentenced, I served time.”
Teresa, of course, will be the main focus of season 7 as she tries to repair her relationships with her family and friends, namely Melissa and Jacqueline, and learns to live without Joe Giudice. “I am very excited to be back,” said Teresa. “For me this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.” Ha! Who are these people? Andy Cohen?
