Roberto Martinez

Are you ready for some MAJOR dirt from one of the former Bachelorettes?  I promise her name doesn't sound like Hey NerdAli Fedotowsky was the franchise's sweetheart, first leaving Jake Pavelka during his season and then finding romance (and then heartbreak) with Roberto Martinez.  Of course, we already know those deets…we want to hear about what goes on behind the scenes.  Ali reveals that she did the hippity dippity on just one of her overnight dates, but she admits it could have happened with more than one guy if one of her favorites hadn't headed back to his girlfriend before her season's end.  She also shares that one former Bachelor (try to guess who before clicking below!) used to take girls into the bathroom on group dates to test the merchandise!  I think you'll also be shocked to hear who she thinks was the victim of a very bad edit.  This is juicy stuff, y'all!

Oh yeah, and then there's Sean Lowe.  I jest…it's just that Ali's chat has some great little nuggets!  ABC has announced a new twist in the realm of Bachelor specials.  Also, Sean dishes why he is choosing abstinence until marriage.  I guess that's a little dirt from Sean.  :)

While Roberto Martinez and Arie Luyendyk Jr. were also considered, all recent signs, rumors, and spoilers pointed towards Sean Lowe as the next Bachelor

Is Sean Lowe the next Bachelor? Well, apparently, he's the only "name" still in the running.

On August 31st, Arie Luyendyk Jr. announced that he is pulling out of the race to be the next Bachelor. Arie tweeted, "The Bachelorette was an amazing experience but I will not continue with the Bachelor. Ultimately I realized my heart is tied to the race track and my career is my main priority. I'm looking forward to getting back on the track."

As you can imagine, Arie's fans went crazy. I may have shed a tear myself. Seriously… the good looks… the kisses… the sense of humor… Arie would be an entertaining Bachelor. Did someone just mumble cough <but he's a player>? Eh, their standards haven't too high in recent years anyway. Case in point – Jake Pavelka and Brad Womack Part 2Arie responded to me his fans on Twitter, "Lots of encouraging remarks. Thank you for all the love, the future looks bright and you will see more of me soon enough. #LoveMyFans."

Just a few days later, on September 4th, Ryan Seacrest disclosed that Roberto Martinez will "definitely not" be the seventeenth Bachelor. The dimples are out too?! There's that tear again.

What else does Ryan have to say?

Move over Roberto Martinez! You too, Sean Lowe!

Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s Daddy says Arie wants to be the next Bachelor. A unnamed source, who attended a recent IndyCar event in Ohio, overheard Arie Luyendyk Sr. talking about Arie’s hot passionate - oops, sorry, I was thinking about those kisses – desire to return to the show.

“I heard him say Arie is definitely interested in being the next Bachelor,” said the source. “He said if they ask him, he’d be thrilled.”

Panda Kitty and One F Jef can finally share their love with the rest of the world.  Now that Jef Holm has proposed to Bachelorette Emily Maynard, we can start speculating on the future of their relationship and the future of the franchise.  I know I’m in the minority, but this was my favorite season yet.  I thought Emily was no nonsense in following her heart, and I wish Jef could be cloned…although I wouldn’t mind settling for Arie Luyendyk, Jr. either.  Of course, this is coming from a girl who likely watch a show that featured Chris Harrison reading from the phone book–dramatically (as if there is any other way).

Not only did Emily score a good man, she also got quite the ring finger candy.  Retailing at more than $150,000, the Neil Lane doorknob is reportedly the biggest and most expensive rock in the history of the show.

So apparently hottie Roberto Martinez isn’t the new Bachelor…yet.   Chris Harrison spoke to RadarOnline.com to quiet the rumors that Roberto was a sealed deal for next season.

“I will confirm it, he’s not the Bachelor, we’ve not named anybody to be the Bachelor yet,” the show’s host tells the site.

“We don’t need to, we don’t name anybody so early,” Chris explains. “I love the speculation and that people are talking about our show but we just don’t need to make decisions yet.”

Don’t get him wrong, he loves Roberto.  He says, “He is a great guy, I love Roberto. First of all I hear he’s stunningly handsome, and he’s a very nice guy, he has a lot to offer and would be a great Bachelor. I would put my vote behind him but luckily I don’t have a vote.”

Ali Fedotowsky‘s ex-fiancé Roberto Martinez is rumored to be the next Bachelor.  With Roberto and his delicious dimples getting so much attention, is former Bachelor and Bachelorette star Ali also hoping for another chance? Returning to the show isn’t out of the question.  Brad Womack recently gave it another try.  He’s still single and now we’re stuck with the yawn-fest that is Emily Maynard, but he tried.  Will Ali follow Brad’s example and return to the show?

“I don’t think so – at least, not in the near future. I think it’s way too soon for something like that. So not right now, no,” she tells Wetpaint.  So, that’s a no to the Bachelorette (for now).   Ali‘s single and ready to mingle though!!  Ali says, “I’m single right now. I’ve actually been single this entire time, despite what you may have heard! I’ve been on one or two semi-dates…I’m not even sure you would call them actual dates. But I’m ready. I’m ready!”

Speaking of Emily Maynard, front runner Jef Holm talks to Reality TV World about his experience on the Bachelorette.
