Bethenny Frankel on Seth Meyers

If Bethenny Frankel is hoping that Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan are being fired as a result of their contract dispute with Bravo, she’s going about it the WRONG. WAY!

Bethenny has made no secret of the fact that her so-called “hog” Real Housewives Of New York co-stars don’t deserve to earn the same million dollars she is earning, and Bravo should cut their losses. But all her complaining to the media seems like the SUREST way for Bravo to lock Ramona, Luann and Sonja back in, because HOLY DRAMA, Batman!

RHONY season 7 cast

Real Housewives of New York season 8 is filming but it’s missing a large portion of its cast! Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Luann de Lesseps have been locked in a contract dispute with Bravo, and apparently they will not be Housewives next season after all!

“They tried to power play Bravo,” revealed a source. “They tried to hold out for more money.” Ramona, Sonja and Luann were trying to stonewall Bravo into paying them the same $1 million dollar salary Bethenny Farnkel earns. Bethenny doesn’t think they deserve it, and unfortunately neither does Bravo!

RHONY Season 7 Premiere Party

The Real Housewives Of New York are on strike! The veteran castmates have reportedly united in refusing to sign their season 8 contracts until they are offered more money!

Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan are digging in their Manolo Blahnik heels and demanding Bravo pay them the same salary as Bethenny Frankel, who apparently commands a $1 million dollar paycheck in exchange for stooping to Real Housewives level again.

LuAnn, Sonja and Ramona have banded together [in holding out for more],” claims an insider. “They have not come to terms. The negotiations are always down to the last minute, but now the show’s started filming.”

Bethenny Frankel - RHONY 100th Episode

Last night Real Housewives Of New York turned 100 and kept it 100! Andy Cohen checked in one-on-one with all of the current cast, Aviva Drescher, and also Kelly Bensimon who shared some really illumination information about her version of Scary Island, the issues with Bethenny Frankel, and more. It made me all the more le sad that Le’ Ladies New York are done for this season!

It’s clear that Bethenny has become the omnipotent narrator of RHONY; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-describing prophet who speaks of success and failures with aplomb and certainty. It’s not a bad role for her, and she clearly relishes in it (and clearly isn’t glad her talk show ended!).

For the 100th episode, I was pleasantly surprised how candid and willing the ladies were to share their side of the stories – and I’m also super glad Bravo allowed them to really go IN. I appreciated Bravo not pretending viewers don’t understand things such as editing!
