It’s been a while since we’ve heard about Teen Mom 2 star Adam Lind. This is a great thing since most headlines about Adam contain the words arrested, jail, or accident… hell, sometimes all three in one shot.
In a recent interview, Adam opened up about his Teen Mom co-stars, plans for the future, custody arrangements (or lack of) with Chelsea Houska and Taylor Halibur, reality TV regrets, and more.
While it is great that Adam hasn’t been in trouble for a few months, some of his answers (like, Kail Lowry is the nicest girl on Teen Mom and Jenelle Evans is a good mom at heart) lead me to believe he’s just as unaware and delusional as ever. I mean, Jenelle is a good mom? Whattttt?!?
The good news is, Adam Lind is currently in jail. On September 14, the menace to society was sentenced to three weeks in jail for driving under the influence and driving with a revoke license. The bad news is, someone named Wendy has since come forward to say she’s pregnant with Adam’s child.
Now, Adam was arrested AGAIN late Friday night for violating his enrollment in the 24/7 Program, a system which requires chronic DUI offenders to undergo drug and alcohol testing at least once per day. Adam will remain in Minnehaha County Jail until at least 1:30 PM today.
First up, Radar Online says the Teen Mom 2 star has lost weight through juicing and kick boxing and gained the confidence to move on with a new guy! "Chelsea goes to the gym 4-5 times a week,” a friend reveals. “Chelsea cooks nutritious meals for herself and Aubree. She makes veggie juice every morning. And little Aubree loves her broccoli!”
And that's not the only new addition to Chelsea's life – she's reportedly dating someone! “She doesn’t like to talk about it much, because it’s so new. And he’s in the public eye!” the friend hints. “But he’s very handsome and a great guy. She’s so happy!”
In case you missed it, the Teen Mom 2 star crashed his car last week. Adam, who was pulled from the wreckage by a witness, suffered a concussion. What's left of his Corvette is burnt to a crisp. The elderly couple Adam hit suffered broken bones. All in all, they're extremely lucky to be alive, but broken bones in an 87 year old and a 94 year old are a big deal in my opinion.
Adam, 23, has been charged with five crimes: reckless driving, driving with a revoked license, driving with a suspended license, driving an unlicensed vehicle, and not having insurance. Sioux Falls Police confirmed neither drugs nor alcohol played a part in the crash. Just stupidity.
After enduring weeks of unwanted attention, confrontations with know-it-all Twitter freaks fans, and tabloid speculation, Taylor Halbur has confirmed that she and Teen Mom 2 baby daddy Adam Lind are expecting a baby of their own this August.
Why one would submit to sexy times with Adam is beyond my comprehension. I mean, he's no Ryan Edwards in the looks department, and he treats Chelsea Houska – and their three-year-old daughter Aubree – worse than yesterday's trash. Anyone else remember his "little bastard" comment? I rest my case.
Anyway, in a recent interview, Taylorconfirmed the pregnancy, addressed Adam's less than stellar reputation, and revealed their current relationship status.
"I decided not to [previously] confirm the pregnancy for a few reasons," Taylor said. "First of all, I didn't want to put my family in the middle of all the chaos it would make. Also, Adam and I decided that we didn't want to make it public for the sake of our child. We knew there would be a lot of backlash from the viewers of the show."
