Lisa Vanderpump Defends Friend Brandi Glanville; Commends Her For How She Dealt With Eddie Cibrian’s Affairs!

While some people (ahem… Splits Richards) have a dubious definition of the word "friendship" it seems Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump have a legit relationship that goes beyond a storyline and some camera time. At least I hope they do!

After Lisa attempted to defend Brandi during Faye Resnick's dinner party attack on this week's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she is also speaking out to defend her friend in the press over how she has handled ex-husband Eddie Cibrian's very public affairs.

Speaking to RadarOnline (wait – isn't that Adreinne Maloof's tabloid?!) Lisa explains why she didn't fire Sur waitress Scheana Marie and commends Brandi's handling of the situation.

"There's so much that people don't know, and I wish that you saw more of Brandi as a mother – but she is not allowed to use her children [in the show], which is a shame because that is another whole side of her personality that we don't see, she is a lovely mother and I have spent a lot of time around her with her boys," Lisa shares.

As for the issues with Scheana, Lisa insists that despite her affair with Eddie, Brandi never retaliated.

"Scheana Marie has worked for me for three-and-a half-years, and we do have this whole situation because Brandi would often be eating at Villa Blanca or Sur and Scheana would be there," Lisa explains.

When Lisa learned Scheana had an affair with Eddie years before, she says she was shocked. "I had no idea! So I was put in a situation many times, where I had to say 'Scheana, I don't want you working today.' Or 'Scheana, I need you to do this section over there, as it was very uncomfortable for Brandi.' Some people even said to me, 'Why don't you fire Scheana?'"

Lisa points out that Brandi never suggested she fire Scheana, but Lisa did want the two to find closure. Scheana maintains she had no idea Eddie was married when she started dating him and was surprised to find out that not only did he have a wife, but he was leaving both his wife and her for LeAnn Rimes

"On what grounds would I even be able to fire Scheana? Let her go because in her private life three years ago she had an affair? It's really not any of my business," Lisa explains. "But it does come to fruition because I think it [would have been easier to fire her] if Scheana was going to continue to work and Brandi was going to continue to come into the restaurant as my friend."

On next week's episode, Brandi and Scheana will confront each other and discuss what happened with Eddie. "I don't know if I could have done that, as the wife, to sit down there and talk to somebody who had been having an affair with my husband, so I commend her for that."

Lisa shares that Brandi has always been dedicated to finding a resolution for the sake of her children.

"There are many things that I think no one is aware that Brandi's done," Lisa reveals. "The fact that she went to therapy with LeAnn and Eddie after he left Brandi, because it was in the best interest of the children."

"She wanted to make sure they worked things out going forward and make sure they would all be on the same page. I couldn't have done that. I take my hat off to her for that."
