Melissa Gorga: “Amber Put Me In A Bad Position”

RHONJ Melissa Gorga

This week on Real Housewives of New Jersey, the females got into a hair-pulling fight. Also known as Bravo’s regularly scheduled Sunday night offering.

In case you missed it… Amber Marchese told Melissa Gorga that she heard Nicole Napolitano broke up someone’s marriage, and Melissa took the gossip back to Nicole. Then at the first responders party, which raised awareness for really slutty costumes instead of money, Nicole “went right for the physical” with Amber. While Amber pretended she didn’t hear anyone ask what SHE did to set off Nicole, Jim Marchese made a huge show out of depositing his wife’s pulled out hair on Bobby Ciasulli‘s kitchen counter. Gross.

Now Melissa is complaining about Amber putting her in a bad position. HAHA. Melissa knew exactly what she was doing – pulling a Tamra Barney to keep herself relevant – when she told Nicole what Amber said. For Melissa to clutch her pearls over the fight that ensued is comical.

Melissa called the first responders party cray cray, adding, “I totally accept the part I played in all of the craziness, but as I have said, I really felt like Amber put me in a bad position by telling me the rumor ‘she heard through the grapevine’ about Nicole. It only felt right to give Nicole the opportunity to clear up if what Amber ‘heard’ was true or not. I had really hoped we could have all talked about what happened, cleared the air, moved on, and enjoyed the party. Obviously that didn’t happen, and now the men got dragged in.”

“As you saw in the episode, the Marcheses continue to contradict themselves,” continued Melissa. “They seem to REALLY want to be liked by the Giudices and at the same time find ways to let us all know that they are too good for them. I’m confused, which is it? I also think Jim talks a big game and wants to portray a certain type of image that I would hope isn’t who he truly is, because no one can be that judgmental.”

Melissa felt as if Jim was purposely taunting Joe Gorga, saying, “What I do know it that it’s not cool for a grown man to walk up to another man and call him a dumb ass in his ear in a very nasty way. Joe was sitting down and not in Jim’s face at all. Jim went too far. Joe just was defending his family, and for Jim to get in his face like that? I mean come on! He’s asking for a reaction, begging for it.”

I agree with MelissaJim and Amber have contradicted themselves and protested too much, and Jim was out of line when he got in Joe‘s face. If socializing with Joe Giudice was such a conflict of interest for Jim, why did he agree to participate in the Real Housewives of New Jersey at all?

That said, I have to laugh at Melissa for saying Amber‘s about creating drama and focusing on the negative instead of focusing on the positive to get airtime. While I agree Amber is trying too hard to bring the drama and talking about her health crisis ad nauseam… BWAHAHAHA, Melissa!! Pot. Meet. Kettle.
