If there is one thing that is glaringly obvious on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11, is that the show needs some drama. Real drama. So far, we just have Porsha Williams hiding her pregnancy. Kandi Burruss’ mother returning to
deny explain calling her son-in-law Todd Tucker, “a lemon.” Other than those (weak) plot lines, this group is going toe to toe about…fashion.
Now, I must say that the RHOA cast is always showing their style, whether it is from the 90’s or present day. (I support your fashion choices, Shamari DeVoe!) But all these fights about labels and fashion sense are messy. And not in a fun way.
NeNe Leakes took to her Bravo blog to clarify Marlo Hampton’s fashion intentions for Shamari with that early-morning ambush make-over. “She’s passionate and can sometimes be too vocal when it comes to other’s fashion choices, but I believe Marlo was coming from a good place when she wanted to style Shamari for the day.”
NeNe was surprised about the heated argument between Shamari and Marlo. She wrote, “I’m not sure why Shamari felt Marlo was shading her!” NeNe posted. Shamari said in her Bravo blog, “Once Marlo started taking jabs at me, the gloves were off! I can go back and forth with the best of them, but a line that should never be crossed is bringing my mother into our argument!”
NeNe posted in her blog, “I told Tanya I didn’t have tolerance for ignorance, which probably was the wrong word! A better word would have been “shallowness,” because she had spoken of labels for the past few days and who she thought was the most fashionable person in the group.”
NeNe added, “Just because one person decides to spend their money on labels, doesn’t make them or us any less than.”
TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK OF NENE’S EXPLANATION ABOUT CALLING TANYA OBSESSED WITH LABELS? DID MARLO HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS FOR SHAMARI WITH THAT MAKEOVER?
