Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has just started airing, but it is must-see television. The fans will finally find out why there is so much bad blood between Lisa Vanderpump and
her foes fellow Housewives. Is this season going to be Lisa’s last on the show? Her series swan song? (shout out to Hanky and Panky at Villa Rosa!)
During the RHOBH premiere, viewers were dropped right into the action when we saw a terrible fight between Lisa, her husband Ken Todd, and Kyle Richards. It was very heated and resulted in Kyle being banished from Villa Rosa.
Lisa has been struggling to deal with her brother’s unexpected death. Kyle started her Bravo blog expressing her feelings about the tragedy. “My heart broke for her. She didn’t leave her house for about a month, but we were in constant contact,” Kyle said.
When Kyle and new bestie Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave went to Vanderpump Dogs, Kyle was surprised when John Sessa, one of the employees, showed her one of the dogs and asked if Kyle remembered her. Lucy, of course, is the unfortunate pup that was adopted from the Vanderpump Dog Foundation by Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley. Somehow, while Dorit claimed that the pup was given to
a shelter wonderful home, poor Lucy found herself at a shelter.
“It was clear to me they wanted me to know the story about Dorit and the dog. Lisa was saying, ‘We aren’t going to talk about it,’ but they brought the dog out for a reason,’” Kyle posted in her blog.
Kyle said, “It seemed odd that both Teddi and I had been given this information knowing full well that it should be a private matter. Obviously having this story put out there would only hurt Dorit.”
Then, Kyle wrote about missing the party at TomTom. Kyle had been vacationing in Europe and learned that Teddi was attending a Daily Mail party at Lisa’s newest bar. Kyle vaguely remembered being invited, but also knew that the bar wasn’t open yet. And she never heard from Lisa about the party. “To err on the side of caution, I called Lisa and asked her about the party,” Kyle stated. “I explained to her that I just landed. It was 4 a.m. for me and I could barely hold my eyes open and looked like a mess. She told me that it wasn’t her party and that she hadn’t even invited anyone.”
Kyle texted Lisa soon after the party. She asked if Lisa was going to be at TomTom so Kyle could drop by. Lisa was dining out with Ken, and Kyle was with Teddi. Lisa allegedly remarked, “Oh, you’re with the friend who showed up to support me.” Ouch!
In Kyle’s blog, she wrote about confronting Lisa at Vanderpump Dogs. “So when I told Lisa at Vanderpump Dogs that she was being a b*tch to me about the Daily Mail party, I was referring to that text and the fact that I KNEW she would turn nothing into something. I felt set up,” Kyle explained. “I love Lisa, but she loves to jump at a chance to make me look like a bad friend, which I am NOT.”
After Lisa started to cry, Kyle quickly made up with her. “I know she’s going through a hard time, but this isn’t anything new. It’s a pattern. I was quickly defensive because I have been down this road before,” Kyle shared. It certainly seems like LVP and Kyle’s friendship may be done. For good.
TELL US- DID LISA SET UP KYLE BY TELLING HER NOT TO COME TO THE PARTY? WHY DOES LISA WANT KYLE AND TEDDI TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH DORIT’S DOG?
