In the midst of Michael Darby’s latest scandal on Real Housewives of Potomac, you know that time he kissed a random woman, went to a hotel room with her and “didn’t have sex with her,” Ashley Darby announced that they were expecting their second child together.
Baby Darby is due in February 2021, which is exciting news for the family, but it’s also gonna be an interesting dynamic to see on TV. We’ve already seen Michael sulk (and stray) in response to Ashley giving her attention to their first baby. How is it gonna be if they have more kids?
During a recent episode of Reality Life With Kate Casey, Kate Casey asked Ashley, “So, are you having a boy or a girl? Do you know?”
Ashley revealed, “I found out at eight weeks. You can actually do a test now where they send you a kit, you prick your finger, and you mail your blood out, and they tell you.” However, Ashley didn’t disclose the sex of the baby. She’s saving that for an Instagram post or a People magazine article, I assume.

Kate asked, “Were you shocked when you found out what you’re having?” Ashley told her, “Not really. It can only be one of two.” Seriously, I love when people ask if you’re surprised about having a boy or girl when there are only two choices. I love Ashley’s candor there.
Ashley revealed, “Yes, I also know the name. When I had Dean I already had a whole list of names for both [sexes] just in the event.” The way she said that makes me feel like the baby is going to be a girl since she mentioned having names for both genders, but we will all find out in February.

“Well, all the children’s names will start with D,” Ashley teased.
When Kate asked, “Do you think you’re gonna have more than two?” Ashley revealed, “No. This is it. We’re sticking a nail in it. Quite literally. Michael has said that after we have this healthy child that he’s going to biologically make it so he can’t have children anymore.”
