Below Deck Elizabeth Frankini Ashling Lorger

Ashling Lorger Thinks Francesca Rubi Firing Elizabeth Frankini From Below Deck “Definitely Wasn’t Personal”; Elizabeth Slams Ashling For Putting Her Down

Elizabeth Frankini was far from the best stew in Below Deck history. But, why fire her when the charter season is practically done? The timing just seemed a little bit off. Not to mention that Francesca Rubi clearly just didn’t like Elizabeth.

Was the firing due to personal reasons? Or was it solely professional? Most likely, it was a little bit of both, but Ashling Lorger had Francesca’s back during a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance.

A fan asked Ashling, “Be honest, is there a part of you that felt that Francesca’s firing of Elizabeth was more personal than it was professional? Especially since there were only two charters left for the season.”

“Definitely not. No way,” Ashling answered. After that, she explained, “We had some troubles with Liz. As you can all see, on previous episodes, I think it was about the second or third charter, that Francesca had already had some problems and already stated that to Captain Lee [Rosbach].”

Awkwardly enough, Elizabeth was also a guest on that Watch What Happens Live episode. In response, she asked Ashling, “Did Francesca give you permission to say that? Your whole focus on the show is me. I’m sorry, you ganged up on me with another woman and tried to put me down.”

“I don’t recall putting you down whatsoever,” Ashling claimed. And, then, she backtracked, adding, “Aside from when I had enough which was after I was super sick and you weren’t helping at all. It was numerous things that added up. I tried to help you at the beginning of the season.”

Elizabeth didn’t let up, asking Ashling, “What was I doing? Was I just sitting there I guess and nothing was getting done?” Elizabeth concluded, “That’s just ridiculous,” which prompted Ashling to share, “I’m allowed to have my own opinion.”
